That is how I was going to do it, actually. Or, at least, something vaguely similar.

Look at it this way: the RRRT guys could either have one driving just for fun, or have one scoring points for AAS, to keep the championship close. In the end, with drop rounds etc., it really makes no difference. It just makes things more interesting/fun.
No. You can't do this, this is entirely unfair. You cannot keep making audibles as the season progresses, why don't you just level the playing field towards the end of the season and just give everyone a certain amount of points, and awards bonus points for wins? That's more conventional, and gives everyone a fair chance that you so desperately want.

Just a question, what are you guys going to do with the chicane? Otherwise chaos will break loose.

I say have a policy of making it single-file through the chicane at all times.

I say from the exit of the tunnel to exit of chicane is no passing. Otherwise, divebombs. Divebombs everywhere.

and then ITCC War # will start.

Yeah good luck with that one. I'll pass if the opportunity is there. If you tell people you can't overtake then it's no longer racing.

Have fun facing the penalties in that case, lol

If the pass is done cleanly then what is there to penalise? If you don't want to be divebombed just take a defensive line.. simple.

I have, was still divebombed, and I was actually penalized... Defensive moves are likely illegal...

Are you are referring to the incident at Bathurst with Sig?

One, you didn't take a defensive line as you were on the outside of the corner not the inside.

Two, yes it was a little late from Sig, but he only came from level with your rear bumper behind. He didn't dive up the inside from miles back.

Three, you got penalised for driving him into the wall, not for your 'defensive move to the outside'.

Four, if you come into a corner and leave the door open then expect for someone to try and pass, don't just turn in on them and claim a divebomb.

Five, end of conversation.

...which Siggers apologized for, and then you proceeded to piledrive him into a wall. That's what your penalty was for.

Look, right: In the very rare case of being along side someone into that chicane, both drivers can and should be able to go two-wide. If you can't, it's your fault, your problem, and your penalty. It actually is as easy as sticking to your side of the track. It's amazing how I've never received a complaint or anything about my driving in this series, despite having run from the back of the field to the front numerous times. Why haven't I spun someone? By sticking to my side of the track, and being cautious.

 I don't want to go back to that for long, but again,I went from middle to high, so I could actually make the corner, and Sig being drilled in the wall is expected for not slowing down...

You nearly took quite a few out though! :D one of these days Geier....

If you're really worried, go to the inside of the track in the braking zone. No one will stick their nose inside of the guy on the inside. You'll lose any and all exit speed, but you won't be dive-bombed.

@buck1 almost spun herself, I just happened to tap her Audi's rear quarter panel. (that sentence was doomed from the start, I promise I actually do mean the Audi's panel.)

Is that what you mean? Not at all my fault. I backed off, braked, and allowed her room to regain control. That's the only time this season I've really made any noticeable contact which resulted in someone even having a small skid.

No, I meant in general  lots of close calls.

"Close only counts in horseshoes."

Seriously, it's actually super easy to race these things clean if you go out with the right mindset.
The Audi's are fat and PD sucks.

Your statement is a lie! :D

You can make the corner from the inside, just brake earlier. Sig would have also had to brake earlier as he wouldn't have been able to turn in because you were there. IE the bog standard defensive line.

He waited on corner exit before going full throttle which would have lost him momentum going up the hill into which he was on the outside for the next corner anyway.

And there is no reason what so ever to deliberately push another car into a wall.

Perhaps if you get a better setup you might be able to. You have a ridiculously loose setup judging by seeing you on track. The oversteer is costing you more time than the understeer you have dialled out would.

EDIT

Allow me to overtake through the chicane and I will spend some time this week on an S4 setup. 👍

I don't care. Give it back immediately, or get crashed.

I prefer a loose car, but yes, there is work to be done.

Where else are you supposed to pass without running the other person into the armco?

You knew that when you signed up. If you weren't so busy drifting about in every corner, you'd probably be able to do better, and stay out of trouble better.

Just because your car is heavy doesn't mean it's a battering ram. Just because your car is heavy, doesn't mean you need to drift it - quite the opposite in fact, your car is only heavy because it's got a V8 and AWD. Those two things alone tell me that you should be fine with a bit of understeer. Understeer is natural in AWD.

The Melco Hairpin, in Macau. That's where.

Will the audi be on a diet for monaco ??? it stuggled badly when we went there preseason.

Oh, yes, I could give you a 1 kg. diet. :ouch: You know that 1329 is the lowest that car will go.

lol, I've made clean passes in the first sector.

Who hasn't? Turn 2 is excellent passing opportunity for someone who's already alongside. Everywhere else is risky. Turn 1 is less risky, but still risky.
