I do still think some kind of ability-handicap could spice things up (making fast drivers slower and vice versa brings the field closer together, you know the drill). But in order for that to work, it'd have to be equal at the start.
 
With the equal stats that will stay that way, a great last lap move with @Ninners drafting with @Doodle, they pass @Earth at the last lap! @Doodle takes home the gold!

R1 Ended under yellow: BMan won
R2 I won by a car length. The lead swapped twice in 1 lap. Looks promising.
