They'll be up when I get the PC working for more than 5 min before a blue screen.

Maybe if I put tinfoil on a brick....

That SHOULDN'T be in bad shape age wise, though I had a VAIO, made around '06-'07, that lived a rough life until Norton killed the hard drive.

If memory serves, Dell had fallen off badly by that point, still better than Gateways, but not much else that I remember. How has it been treated?

Just don't consider an HP 2000, those things suck reliability-wise.

Dells post-2012 are supposed to be good, If they even make VAIOs anymore they're tempermental but can take stress well(Norton isn't stress, it's arcenic), Acers get surprisingly good reports, and Lenovo = IBM. Also, new probably wouldn't be best, Windows 8 and all, so if you get to shop for one don't rule out a less abused one.

I expected as much. Which is closer, relief or a hammer?

If it helps anything, It's not gonna bother me if we don't line up races with NASCAR IRL.

More like relief I don't need the hammer.

It's starting to run for longer periods of time, hopefully long enough for me to try an antivirus and fix this.

If it doesn't work out for you, you can offload the series to one of us at least until your PC is fixed :indiff:.

You may have a program that is killing your computer. I had a game that once downloaded, my VAIO crashed 3x more. I got rid of it and it fixed the problem.

Last game I downloaded was NR... After looking for 6 years for a download, or physical copy to buy. So... No.

AMD isn't horrible, at least for me, but be warned that is what PS4 has, and I think XB1 as well.

Well it looks like Gaming PC for me when PS3 loses support from Sony. I'm not saying the PS4 will be bad, but PC seems to be the better choice.

I think I know what's going on. Nas, you clown. :D
Fraps is CPU intensive sometimes, the errors are real, I'm taking a shot in the dark with my PC working with the other stuff. Hasn't been turned on and used for a fee week.a

On topic:

I think I know next season's livery already.. is that a bad thing?

Semi-on topic:

MSI Afterburner is amazing for recording, DXTory is good, but it is not quite as good as Afterburner.

I can recommend Afterburner (I use it myself for just about all my recordings), except when the video record feature decides to play hide-and-seek. Not sure if removed from the app altogether or just located somewhere new.
