"First off, before I say anything else, I would love to thank the Clauson family and everyone here at RACE for providing us drivers the opportunity to remember Bryan with a special paint scheme for this race. It means a lot to me that I was able to run a tribute scheme, Bryan was such a great person, the racing world lost a great man. It's a shame that we couldn't pull a good finish with the car and the scheme and all, but I know both
@nascarfan1400 and
@RACECAR, as well as myself, gave a 110% effort to put these special cars into victory lane today. We will run this scheme next race in Las Vegas, in addition to Eldora later in the season.
"As for the race, we had a decent car, but we just got caught in traffic often, and that's where the car struggled. If we had clean air, we would've been up front. We got extremely lucky quite a large amount of times too. Man near misses of crashes and whatnot. Eventually we got put in the wall. Don't know why they didn't just back off honestly. Unnecessary action if you ask me, but it is what it is. We'll just have to get back at it in Vegas."
