I mean when I click the link to his post the first link from his post is dead. Also does anyone have beta 4.1 I need it beat 4.0 looks like crap and the link to it is dead.

TsLeng - Yea, any controller should work with racer. You will just have to edit one of the controller.ini's yourself to map the variables to the correct axis and buttons.

Does anyone have version 5.2 that they can upload for us? the update on the www.racer-xtreme.com site doesn't work anymore. Any help would be much appreciated.

:D I am going to get a momo racing wheel soon.

I decided to go for the racing not the momo force because it has a gear shift.

I read somewhere that the Formula force GP wheel is compatible with PS2. How does it connect to the PS2? USB? It isn't stated in the specs that it will work with PS2 but obviously some gamers out there syas it works fine with PS2.

I thought that since it uses USB, the momo should be compatible with PS2 also. Well its just a thought.

Can somebody clarify this? I am confused:confused:

And how does the formula force wheel move up, down, left, right, enter, exit? Using the gas pedals and steering i guess? Because it only has 4 buttons.

:odd: I am really confused:confused: .............

Unless I'm mistaken there are two Mom wheels available, one works with the PS2. Just because a wheel has USB though doesn't mean it's compatible, I'm going for the Logitech GT Force Pro which works for PC and PS2.

Yes there are 2 momo wheels. I read reviews saying they both work with PS2.
But anyway, regardless of whether it works with the PS2 or not, I am going to buy it.

Made up my mind.

Well it's meant to be one of the better wheels around so you can't go far wrong.

No, it wont dowload from the site so if anyone's got got it it would be much appreciated if they could put it here or send it via msn.

Yeah or so they say in countless reviews.

guess what, mine is not functioning the first day I got it.
Waiting for the replacement now.:(

Just the start you don't look forward to, and wheels arn't cheap, thats bad luck that.

Got the wheel back from the dealer.

Seems like its my USB port's fault. It isn't functioning so I thought my wheel is dead.:O

Now enjoying F1 2002, world racing, NFS-U. Can't figure how to use it on Racer yet. CMR3 coming up.

Yea i have the files, but it's like 13.6MB and i only have 10MB i can host the files on. if anyone can host the files i'll be happy to send em to you via email or ICQ.

Start up racer and go to free drive. Hit ctrl+4 and move the wheel and press the pedals. Use the information on that screen to help you assign the correct axis on your wheel/pedals to the correct function in whichever controller.ini you use as a base.

Got it working. :)

Any1 managed to drift in Racer? If so, what car and track?
I tried the R500 and its pretty easy to slide around with..
