ok I put in GT2 fun the fun of it the other day and I noticed something i forgot...that in GT2 you could racing modify your car(put stickers and what not on it) does anyone know why they didn't put it in gt3 or if its gonna be in gt4?

this has been mentioned many times
i believe GT3 was very rushed and they had to drop alot of things out

Well its not very realestic to be able to mod every car, GT3 is more true to life than GT2.
Still it would be very cool to be able to do that.

Yeh, a lot of people have complained about that...it would be a nice addition in GT4...

having never used gt2 could sum1 tell me what the racing mods did othe than put stickers on the car?
did it improve performance?

i dont think it changed the cars performance
it just turned the car into a race looking car (paint stickers etc)

oh well.
dont think i'd bother with it then...

anyone with gt2?
if so can sum1 post a before and after pic of a car with racing mods?

i have GT2, its just i havent played it for ages

for example the difference it makes, if i remember correctly you could buy a ford taurus and do a race mod and it would turn into a Nascar lookin car

In GT1 you could do it to any car (more or less) and in GT2 most of them. It would noticebly increase the performance(it added wings/spoilers front and back) of the car and you could sometimes chose different colours as well, and if you think about it is quite realistic to be able to mod any car there was a volvo estate in the BTCC one year!!:)

yea the Ford Taurus looks like Mark Martin's old car, but you culdn't do it to any car there were a few that you couldn't but still it was really neat.

Not only that, but you could adjust downforce on the car. If your car didn't have a wing you wouldn't be able to adjust any downforce, but after a race mod it would add a wing and you could adjust downforce on both the front and rear.

i wish i could reverse the racing mod to put it back to standard
