Went to one F1 race - 1998 Spanish GP...I haven't been to a race meeting since; must change that one day. I also wish I hadn't used some ISO 1000 film...it's quite grainy.

Went to several IMSA races in Miami and West Palm Beach back from 1987 to 1992. Some of it was with a 110 camera, a point-and-shoot 35mm, and finally an AE-1 which I really wasn't too sure how to use...Mixed results on a tiny budget.

1987: I was 13 years old. First real race event...Sights and sounds! Track food! People everywhere!

Caught the eventual race winner before running out of film in time for race-day.

I had a bunch of images of the 2012 Belgian GP on ImageShack, but they deleted them on me. I will have to dig out the hard drive they are on to share some.
In the mean time, here is what I saw of the 2005 Monaco GP...

Off to Oulton Park this weekend for the VSCC Hawthorn/Spanish Trophies, should be a good opportunity for photos.

Here are some pictures from my trip to yesterdays WEC 6 Hours of Nürburgring. Has quite a blast there, it was my second live WEC race ever (and it won't be my last one, already planning going the second time to the WEC 6 Hours of Spa next year). I can only repeat myself, what an experience. And also, what a race! The battle between Audi and Porsche for fourth place was stunning, also great was the hunt for third place in the closing minutes of the race by Strakka Racing. Anyway, enough talking. Here are the pictures. (Some of them might have some work done with Snapseed).

Here are some KAMera shots from the Watkins Glen 2016 IMSA event. We were there (camping) from Thursday noon through Monday noon. We were pleased to be able to stream most of the on track activity and watch it on the TV. We also watched both the NASCAR races LIVE from Daytona as well as recorded activity for that weekends F1 race including practice and qualifying.
All said we watched 18 different classes of racing and used up 16.5 GB of data. What a great weekend of racing including 4th of July fireworks. We were also visited by Jason Rabe from Bodymotion Racing.

Hope you enjoyed yourself :)

Those trucks are crazy to watch. You aren't pushing if you are on 4 wheels! I only made it the Friday, but managed to be sitting at the last turn when the carnage happened in 2nd practice for the Indy guys. Looked like a nightmare of a corner.

My pics from the Canadian GP from 2010, 2014, 2015 and 2016. Not great photos tbqh since it's hard to get up close and all I had was an older digi cam and my cell phone.

2010:

My grandstand seat at my first ever F1 race. Funny how the cars look quite strange in hindsight with their high noses.

Ab1ES4e.jpg

Forever thankful I got to see Michael Schumacher race live, and in the flesh in the driver's parade. Same with Bruno Senna as a big Ayrton Senna fan.

2014:

Walking the track for the first time. Was an awesome experience, did the whole lap.

edMyZic.jpg

Gives me chills. After the race this spot is always super crowded so it's hard to get a good picture. You can see there's a group photo happening at this moment.

2015:
YTYNRij.jpg

Winner of one of the 458 Challenge support races.

RtQqjYY.jpg

Funny story about this. Was at this race with my brother, and after the final 458 support race ended (before the F1 race) we went over to their "garage"/truck area and suddenly found ourselves in an area it didn't seem we were allowed. There were 458 Challenges as far as the eye could see, a 599 with the dashboard signed by Kimi Raikkonen, and other VIP cars and this Ferrari F1 car under a tarp -- I'm quite certain it was an F10 based on the thin and high nose. We had a good time for 10 minutes before someone realized and kindly told us to leave. You can still walk around and see all the 458s under tents though.

ZXqRMcV.jpg

My grandstand seat in 2015.

4GCm52w.jpg

Race winner Lewis Hamilton. He's won 3 of the 4 races I've attended, and was leading the other in 2014 before he retired with a brake failure (along with the MGU-K failure both Mercs had). Shame cause he just finally got past Rosberg and then almost immediately retired.

2016:
uTTtZbf.jpg

View from my grandstand seat this year. Nice view of the entire entrance and exit of the hairpin, from high speed braking to full acceleration after one of the slowest corners on the calendar.

Great to get up close and see all the buttons.

Senna mural. At least the past 2-3 years there's been three murals near one of the bridge entrances, of Senna, Schumacher and Gilles Villeneuve.

To save clogging this thread up with pics, I'll just share this one I took at the Bathurst 1000 last year*. Grabbed this shot of Davison/Webb Tekno Commodore during Thursday practice. Only afterwards noticed, that I'd also caught Scott Pye backing his Falcon into the tyre wall at McPhillamy Park on the bigscreen in the background.

*If anyone is interested, the rest of my pics are here.

Guys do not worry about clogging up the thread...post 'em. If you like it post it!I'm going to try to post a picture from every race I've been to. Only one, maybe two.

Here is Dan Gurney in the 1968 Dutch GP at Zandvoort. I was totally frozen and wet. Sir Jackie stunk up the show in his Matra. Not my picture.

You wouldn't believe how flat the Ford GT GT3 really is :P

it's not a GT3 car its an lmp car designed barely within the GT cars specs in that it is a "road car" ( my ass!!!!), and they still have not legally met homologation specs.

Lambda Performance officially built it as a GT3 car (next to GT1 and GTE versions) so in my eyes it was a GT3 car ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Back from the IMSA Sahlen's 6 Hours of the Glen last July.

Nice catch of the 90.

Being there at the right time can be difficult with sports photography.

It reminds me of this shot taken at Lime Rock last summer.

Thanks! I managed to get a couple shots of the profession of the spin. Luckily I was standing right there when Goossens looped it 'round!

Great Viper shot, too!
