Racing wheels with 6 speed shift

hey guys, for higher end wheels with 6 speed shifters, how does that work if you have a car with 7 gears though? :S

Okay, okay, you may have proven me wrong but on www.insidesimracing.tv when they reviewed the T500 RS shifter, they said that they didn't like it because shifting into 5 from 4 (I think it was) was very awkward. For me, six gears is the maximum for a h-box. If there is any car that has 8 gears or more with a h-box transmission, that would just be ridiculous (and you can't deny it 👎 ) .
