@GTR SPEC V - This will probably get deleted or locked. The AUP has the below in it and your picture is, in my view at least, contravening it but I shall let a mod decide that.

Also, if this thread is deemed a 'legal one' it would be best posted here but, again, the use of the PSN ID is forbidden there so it would be rendered moot unless you described the incident, sans PSN ID, or by redacting the ID from the picture. Having said that though I see that pic as quite inflammatory and would likely cause great offence within the community, I would leave it well alone if I were you.

AUP says:
  • You will not post any person’s private information within the forum but your own. You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for any personal data or information that you choose to disclose and make publicly accessible via GTPlanet, and that any personal data or information may remain indefinitely*
@Jordan, the word indefinitely appears twice in the AUP, not sure if you know?

Maybe he just wants to hang out with a group of black people and worded it extremely poorly?

That could easily be hilarious were it not for the subject matter, poor form dude.

How is it poor form to give someone on the internet the benefit of the doubt?

I think you know the answer to that.

There's only so much benefit that can be afforded with such a statement and we all know it.

An African American, or otherwise dark skinned folk, would never say such a thing as is depicted and to suggest otherwise is in very poor taste.

This thread has run it's course, if it were on my forum it'd be gone long ago.

I'm out, forum staff can deal with this one.

It's run its course. Any further discussion of online racism can be done in the pre-existing threads, like this one:

While it is indeed despicable, we don't like people posting the contact details of other people on this site. While a username is not much in terms of private information, posting it along with the screenshot of the offensive title has the potential to lead to online harrassment or bullying, which we also take a dim view of (though we cannot police this outside the site).

Fair enough to say: There are idiots on the internet, and, sadly, this isn't the most offensive thing I've ever seen on PSN. Report it to Sony and move on.
