Radar quick question

Radar is for people who have little to no spacial awareness, little to no perception and little to no expectancy... and who never used a mirror before other than to shave or add mascara.
Forget about radar, use a view with a mirror, watch it, as much as you do what is ahead. Be aware of vehicles coming with speed and which way they went...
Radar is far too little and too late... essentially worthless.

No mirrors on race bikes, so radar does come in handy, are they going for the inside, outside? Is their exit speed quicker, do i need to let them thro? Are they going to ram me? I would like to reposition more central too. :-)

I can't see the mirror on the opposite side of the car and can only see the centre mirror in my GTR with the cockpit cam zoomed out, which I don't like.

Choices, we all get to make them... there are mirror(s) available in the game...
I don't race motorcycles online or in real life... if i did I guess I would need to adapt.

I am all for PS putting the full "nascar" style mirror in all views for online racing (like included with bumper cam) so that everyone can use their preferred view and be informed, until they do, I will stick to the view that gives me the most information of my surroundings...
I would love to use cockpit view, but, with 50% the screen taken up with the dash and a set of hands that don't keep up combined with a review the size of a postage stamp (or not at all)... enough said.

I drive cockpit view... Some cars dont have good mirrors...

I think I covered that... ^^... not here to argue, just noting there are options.

I'm accustomed to bumper cam, so i am fortunate to have a great mirror available to me, I will concede that.

You say you dont come to argue but you also dont answer OP's question and you enter this thread all like; forget about radar yeah radar is for noobs learn to use your mirrors noobs ! Well some people just like to use views that unfortunately dont have mirrors. Ofcourse they rather have them, obviously a mirror is better then radar we all know that. But when your preferred view doesn't have a mirror radar is the next best thing and imo everyone should use it even when you do have a mirror.

Gonna have to disagree there. The radar is actually particularly useful when side by side with someone. No view has good enough peripheral vision for side by side racing.
Yes mirrors and spacial awareness are essential, but the radar definitely helps to avoid unnecessary collisions.

I did not mean to come across that way, so, sorry if it was arrogant.
I did not answer the question... sorry, I did provide an alternate solution.
I myself am a newb, never raced online prior last month, and only have approx. 30 races under my belt.
I'm not sure about other views, but, in bumper cam, even if radar is not "selected", it will "warn/flash" at either the left or right side of the rev indicator.
