That is true in fact, you had to be careful not to hit something and turn your car -always- the other way round. I also had cmr and kept saying that I wanted wrc to have the handling of cmr. WRC has the visuals and nicer tracks (long 👍 ), cmr had the better handling. I enjoyed wrc a lot.

You should try RBR only if you are really into sim rallying and ....if you also own the DFP, I think you are not able to enjoy the game without it. The review's are right: it is very good as a sim and therefor rewarding if you master a stage, the fun factor is lacking a bit.

Funny enough, I quite disliked the rally tracks in the GT series...It is not stages but tracks and hope gt4 will change it around again (like the pikes peak track :) )

I always saw GT's rally tracks as autocross rather than rally, they were really wide and you could slide around them so easily without much fear of ever going too wide.

Remember, Kazunori Yamauchi is a true rally fan and considers it the most difficult aspect of racing....(source: the making of DVD, GT4 prologue).

Let us hope that, he implements rallying in the way that most members on this thread like to see it!

We can only wait........

Can true rallying be done without damage in both body and performance though?

yeah... a rallying often end early for many of the cars on the stage... so how can that be done w/ out damage? theres no danger of rocks and pushing the engine too hard... tons of things i've seen go wrong during rally races i havent seen in other forms of racing.... and thats a major danger in wrc... but im looking foward to rallying in gt4 nonetheless
