Random Text Dissapearing

Just noticed this. Some post completely had no text at all. This is happening across the entire forum.

I use Adblock for all websites. It has nothing to do with GTP. It's been there for years.

Makes no difference unfortunately. It's been this way for about a half hour. It's gotten slightly better though.

I haven't updated it in forever. AS I said, I'm 99% sure it's unrelated to Adblock as I've been using both for years unaffected.

I've never seen anything like that, but I suspect it's an issue with some type of browser plugin.

A few troubleshooting suggestions:

• Does it occur if you use the site and sign into your account with Chrome's Incognito mode (with plugins disabled)?
• Does it occur when you view the site with other browsers, like Firefox or IE?
• Does it affect you when you are signed into and out of your account?
• Does it happen on the News page also?

So far its not doing this on mobile. It actually came about quite randomly. I haven't changed any settings into browser lately. I will test those.

EDIT:

It has seemed to resolve itself. I will report back if it reoccurs. Thanks guys!

I wonder if it might be a weird character set issue? That said if the user hasn't changed anything it's hard to think of a scenario where that could happen... and there are no weirdchars.

EDIT EDIT: Just showed the screenshot to a colleague, she immediately asked if the site uses SkimLinks... I believe it does so she suggests it was a transitory error (we use that one all the time) with SL?
