i think that walters idea is a good one, as it allows for a consistent penatly. i will change the rules page when i get a chance.
 
rules have been changed to the weight penanlty. its now in the rules and results thread. also vinny are we racing monday or what?
 
Also I was thinking that after this weeks race everyone should post up their suspension settings... Itd be cool to see how much everyone differs (seeing as were doing a one make race )and how they placed... Just an idea I know suspension secrets are hard to get out of peeps sometimes lol

I was thinking the same thing. i was able to best my other time by a few tenths. I forget how fast exactly but its a 1.22.1 I think. I also had another idea... I have save my best lap replay and will offer it to anyone who wants it via attachment in an email. i think all you have to do is put it on a flash drive or some other means and put it in your ps3 save game folder. just pm your email adress and ill send it over.

Also i had really liked this car before this race and had one in my favs, but this one has replaced it now its a much better tune than i previously had. FYI I can't speak for everyone but my car did not require any retuning for online lobby, i actually like it slightly better online as it actually allows for power over if I really want to!

On a unrelated note: I found an awsome car in the used car lot, it a Lotus Esprit Sport 350. Its crazy fun to drive, dare I say the best balanced street car in the game stock!! Seriuosly his car may not be the fastest for its PP or anything but it has no flaws. I put it up in my online garage in community for you guys to try if you wanted.
 
ok after some tuning i have ran a 1:25.005 online. car overall is balanced well i just need it to turn better in the center of the corner so i can get off the corner better. have only run about 10 laps and need to get my line down as well.

well i did it using a flash drive and photobucket similar to myspace ... i think christian did it a diff way ... i am by no means good with a computer so there may be an easier way perhaps chris or vinny could chime in... or anyone else debo or mcnasty

heres what you do.

grab the pic from your ps3 put it on your pc. then sign in to gtplanet. go to My GTPlanet on the right hand side. on the left hand side under networking click pictures and albums. add an album then import the pic to the album using the browser tool on the website. view the image and copy the URL. go back to the forum where you want to post the pic click on "insert image" the little picture looking thing then paste the url there. it should work then.

Ok so i did a few more laps... I still cant run a 100% clean lap but i did manage to drop my time to a 2:23.917. I know this cars still has more in it and my next runs will be in a online room unless were running tomorrow night.

if vinny doesnt chime in here before this afternoon, saying he wants to race tonight, then this weeks race will be held Wednesday night at 9:00pm. if the hockey games you guys arein take place on a consistent basis let me know so we can make a new standard night.

Hey guys so I may be out for the season, not to sure. But last week I raced with a broken right hand. The re-tards at medicus called me yesterday to tell me it was broken and not a sprain. They miss-read the x ray, so I may join in depending. I'm in a soft cast and splint so maybe I will be able to sneak it off for some racing.

that really sucks man. I know,ive been there before, but playin gt was about all i could do with a hand cast on lol. i hope you can pull it off.

Yea, that was fun. A little upset about my mic though I should have it fixed for next week. In all honesty i think Civsi2nv had the fastest car. i followed him for a while and couldnt make up any ground until he made little mistakes here and there. I think I already said it but I really like the way my sti turned out. I did an oil change after the race and gained like alot more hp, then i detuned it back to spec for last nights race and put it up in my online lounge so you guys can give it a spin and compare it to your own if you like. Just go to community then nocheeseallowed and you should see it there, then you can select it for yourselves.

I have an idea for this week I will try and post it up tonight. Also post up what night will be good for you this week also. If there are no complaints we will keep Thurs, otherwise I want to know for sure asap.
