Random Winners Choice WRS!!

Ok I am going to start to post up the rules for this week. I need some information from you guys first though. This weeks race will be an international race, meaning everyone will have cars from different countries. The way i have decided to figure out who gets what countries cars is by giving the people with the least points in the championship first pick and go up the list from there. pp will be 475 There are 6 major countries and 7 of us so far, so the 7th pick will be tuners shop cars (please note there are not that many in that many cars in that range in tuners shop but, there are some good ones).
Heres what we got so far.
-Walter: England
-DjDebo: USA
-GC8URSTI:? picks first
-civsi2nv:? picks second
-baggyspandex:? picks 3rd
-Mcnasty411:? picks 4th
-Nocheeseallowed:whatevers left

JAPAN
GERMANY
FRANCE
ITALY
TUNERS/OTHER COUNTRIES

edited rules to not allow race cars, race mods, or concept cars.

Also gc8ursti has picked germany. that leaves japan, italy, france, and tuning shops/other.

Picking the USA really screwed me for 475pp I think. I have a couple or cars Im thinking of. SVT Cobra R, C4 Grandsport, 10' Camaro, Focus ST or an older 00' Z06. Everything else is just out of reach pp wise.

I really wish we could chassis and engine overhaul if we are using used cars against new ones.
 
i will pick france, i am on vacation next week so will not be racing, but i will go for the 1 bonus point in practice this weekend. it would not be fair for me to pick japan!!! good luck next week guys!!

Um... I happen to think those are some pretty killer cars to choose from. Ill see if I have anything else usa in my garage for you.
 
FYI infiniti is USA. I don't know if that really complies with the spirit of this race but I suppose it is a loophole that you could use if you wanted debo.

ohhh, yes I did lol. And.....An Acura NSX might make its way to represent the US but I think that is only if I'm not competitive.

So far my 00' Z06 with the least horespower and torque of all my cars is looking good for this track even over my 90' ZR1, Cobra R, and 96' Grandsport. I shall post a pic in action... My .best time with this has been in the mid 1:41s, everything else }I have runs in the 1:42s & 1:43s.

I would like to try and stay with the "true" American companies, but if all else fails I'll just go pick up an Acura NSX : )

I may be wrong but I wouldn'tbe surprised if the z06 is better for this race, the nsx can be a handfull on sports hards. Then again I've never driven the acura varient in this game.

Does anyone have any word on Mcnasty, or what hes going to pick? Because I can't really do anything till he picks. Although I did try some potential options from one choice, and I know which one I want.

But ive been having trouble dialing it in for a clean run... I have a question tho... If a car was manufactured with an adjustable rear wing does that make it a race car? or can it still be used?

Thank you for the input guys, anybody have any cars that they are thinking of using for the race? If so, what kind of times have you been putting down?
 
I'm actually considering using my Evo RS again. I gave it some shakedown laps last night and the absolute best I could pull was a 1:39.8 on the previous tune. Maybe I'll try some suspension tweaks here and there.

My opinion is that if the car is a production vehicle with an adjustable wing and it was offered to the public for purchase, than it can be used. As long as it wasn't a test bed/concept car for them.
 
Yea wings are fine as long as the car comes with one and is not added later in your own personal tuning.
I guess I am left with Italy, some good cars in this range on first look. hope to get some testing to figure out what car im going to use soon.

Yeah the 350sport is sick to bad I did a chassis refresh and engine overhaul before the regs were up... But I have something else in the works ...............
