this style of racing would be good for a whole season... for example we all pick countries then each week have to meet the stipulations each week but with cars in our own country

I'm actually considering using my Evo RS again. I gave it some shakedown laps last night and the absolute best I could pull was a 1:39.8 on the previous tune. Maybe I'll try some suspension tweaks here and there.

You should run your sti from lady week since you never got a chance to run it

I have a 10' Camaro that I've been tweaking and have run a best of a mid 1:40 with it. The NSX didn't prove to be anything great over the Vette or Camaro.
 
I adjusted my car for the online lobby, and am able to run 1:40s with it, but I am not sure for how many laps it may be a 3 or 4 stopper for me. Also this car was a nightmare to drive before I tuned it and is super heavy.

ok so ive tried a few cars. First i tried a TVR which it would dominate all in if we were doing a D1 event lol.

Then i tried an older elise 111R wich had too much power at 475pp for its own good.

So finally i settled on a Evora...

Its not the fastes car but it has minimal tire wear and when it runs clean i can knock over a second off my ghost time (1.42:1) in any give section ... the problem is i cant be that clean through all sections of laguna seca... agian a sec here loose 2 there lol

but the general run down of the car is:

-300 hp
-297 tq
-forget weight ill edit later
-Aero package on minus wing of course
-1:42:1 (For now)

So my official car will be a.........

00' Corvette Z06 (Used & Abused)
- only 310 hp
- 355 ft lbs
- 1400+ kg
- Fastest Lap has been a 1:40:883

Its handles great just down on power for the set up. Looks like Walter and myself will probably be competing at the back of the pack again. :)

I've tried using cars at the same weight with 100+hp and 100+ft lbs over my Vette and they run a little slower and aren't very consistent.

Color also to be seen...

Tried a multitude of cars. The most fun and smooth car I tried was the NSX-R. What an amazing machine. I'd love to use this, but I need to learn to drive RWD cars a bit better before risking it, especially with only 1 pit stop. I was able to pull high 1:39's with it fairly consistently, but some of these corners were hell when trying to regulate the throttle on semi-worn sports-hards.

I think i'm going to wind up using an Evolution IX GSR. Consistent 1:39.7 to 1:40's. Very stable for the most part, and the brakes are amazing. With some generous tire wear the only problem I can see is the brakes locking up going into the first corner.

fastest lap so far has been 1:39.9 but i run pretty consistently in the mid 1:40 range
 
I don't know what your talking about Debo, I think this is going to be the closest race yet. My best time is not my consistent time, that was my absolute best. With the times everyone is saying This is going to be fun. Also dont forget there is one mandatory pit stop, but you can take as many as needed. See you guys on tomorrow.
 
Oh crap! I thought we were only allowed 1 pit stop total!

As some of you may know...I have a guilty pleasure of watching the show Jersey Shore. :guilty: Tonight is the 1st episode for this excellent yet tasteless series. They air on Thursday nights @ 10pm. yean im not in this race guys i have to be up extremely early tomorrow to catch a flight to georgia thought i didnt have to be up till later but i forgot about getting there early for all the check in bs so im out ill be checking the forums every now and then while im away so keep me posted on the results and the spec for next race tty guy soon
