Japanese Sport FWD Battle at Tsukuba Circuit

TRACK

-Tsukuba Circuit

RULES

- Everyone must use a Japanese make FWD vehicle.
- No race cars, race mods, or concept cars allowed
- PP limit is 450
- sports hard tires
- Close ratio 6-speed gearbox is allowed, no fully-customizeable trans.
- no chasis or engine refresh
- race will be 45 minutes long
- 2 pit stops mandatory, no pit-limit.
- Aero is allowed if applicable, no wings allowed.
- All tuning allowed except for weight reduction in any way.

I figure this will be a tighter race, being a smaller track and more driver-friendly cars if used correctly. It should give some people a chance to get back into the series.

I refuse to use a Honda for this race because I feel that most everyone will be in one. I shall dare to be different and will most likely be running a Mazda 6, thats right...a Mazda 6 lol.

I considered this as well but I'm just nervous about the weight on the tires. Kind of stinks we aren't able to use spoon cars. I wanted to go hybrid and rock the crz.

haha, yea the Mazda 6 is a little bit of a porker. Try a CR-Z or even better yet, build a nasty Prius in Eco-Green color with green wheels lol.

I just saw the rules for this week..... All I can say is, too predictable.
But seriously this will be fun I already have a car built for this but if I have time I want to do something fresh for this race, it's kind of not fair to have a perfectly tuned beast waiting in the wings. If spoon isn't allowed would that mean the same for all yuning companies, Because I have a TRD celica sports M that I might like to use.
Also I'm fine with wednesday is that what we're doing from now on?
And who's the new guy?

Yes very predictable, but it should stay competitive. I'm pretty sure if Spoons aren't allowed that goes for all tuning companies including TRD.

I'm good for Wednesday nights also.

I think he was referring to the Spoon CR-Z. But anywho, Ray you can use a stock CR-Z from the dealerships. Vinny ran one and did real well with it.

This is really an easy event to build a decent car quick for. Everyone will be in the same area.

I have to build a real car tonight, but i did some wuick test runs in my already tuned itr and rean a low 1.05. Also tried a euro accord r and ran in the same nieghborhood as you debo somewhere in the high 1.05 to low 1.06s.

I will hopefully decide for sure what to use tonight. Ill be on testing and tuning a few other options in my lounge if anyone elseis on and wants to join.

Walter I will send you one of my leftover tunes since your getting back so late. This is going to be a really exciting one I think.👍

i'm not near my ps3 so i dont know my exact stuff but im using the integra type r (rsx looking one) and ive gone mid 1:04s.

Using a DC5 ITR and running mid 1:05's average. Fastest was 1:05.067 but that's on an empty track, I'm sure as hell not running that in a crowd.
