Elise Motorsport: 8.5/10

I love it's look and it is pretty fast for a little guy:tup: , but I was hoping to find a small car that could compete with the big dogs.:grumpy: If anyone can get this car under 1:00.000 flat:crazy: around Red Rock for me I will change my rating to 9.5.

Next Car: 1969 Corvette Stingray

8/10- looks great and it's classic.

Next Car: TommyKaira 25R (R34)

Tommy Kaira R34 : 80/100, a better handling R34.
Impreza 22b: 75/100, better than normal STI but feel slow at high speed.
Renault Clio Sport V6: 75/100, a sleeper, have the potential to win many race.

Since no one has left a car to rate, here's one.

Chevrolet Camaro SS '98

Like I said before, 3 words is not a review. It is an opinion, and we have too many of them. Please review. Also, the Escudo PPV,Speed 12, Impreza 22B etc. have been rated before countless times! We are down to under used and never used cars.

chevrolet camaro = 75/100

hated driving this car on the lisence tests..but is also a good competitor on some races....heavy body and it really eats down the speed once you started to drift on this one.. it hates the sharp corners..

next up: cusco subaru impreza

cusco subaru impreza - 85/100
You can win GT300 easily using this car, good grip, enough power, balance handling, good engine response. I can leave other cusco at least 2 second in grand valley east first lap ! (max downforce, 56/56/56 LSD, SS tire, 12 spring, low height, high damper, no toe, no camber, low stabilizer)

Next car: SLK 230 Kompressor

SLK 230 Kompressor: 80/100
Killer [R] body (and it's the only Mercedes normally buyable to have one). A little porky, but real good down low, with seemingly more torque than it actually has. Loses power in the top end (thus is the crime of a supercharger), but power delivery is very linear and predictable.
Next: Toyota XYR Celica Concept Car

Toyota XYR Celica Concept Car - 75/100
A good car, I love the engine noise! Sadly it can not be tuned as much as it's other version, no R body either. But It can be use to win all three tuned NA no1 with ease. It's handling is a bit oversteer for an FF car, so it can be use to drift as well.

Next car: Integra Sir-G '98 (maybe the base of spoon integra)

ok then you didnt put so:

the dragster car i think its a nissan (forgot name and im too lazy to go see)

The HKS Drag 180 SX: 65/100

While it is a way cool car to look at, it is useless to drive in Gran Turismo 2. Since you can't do a burnout, you can't hook it up on the 400m test (a.k.a. 1/4 mile). It understeers like a front wheel drive car on ice with bald front tires and blizzaks rear. Now if you put bad tires in the back it oversteers and spins like a top. It is a very fast car going straight once it hooks up at 150 MPH, so it is only useful on the test track.

Next Car: Integra SiR-G '98

Wow, it's cool to see this thread lives on! Sorry I haven't been posting, guys. I been in school learning about brake repair and for the first time in 4 years I haven't been gaming at all.

Anyways, I've not driven the Integra SiR ...that's a hidden car for NTSCers and I don't have no gameshark so I'm passing it on.

actuelly the car is a fun thing to drive and when you fully mod it, then the real fun come out

next car: 156 2.5 V6 24V '98

Alfa Romeo 156 2.5 V6 24V '98 - 70/100

This car has plenty of power for an FF. It has good engine with high rpm. The bad point of this car is the handling, it give plenty of body roll and feels front heavy. The car will dive in every sharp corner. With some tuning it will lift the inside rear wheel on ALL high speed ring corner. As always, the handling can be optimize with correct suspension setting (it seem curing understeer in GT2 is easier than other GT).

next car: TVR Griffith 500

TVR Griffith 500: 83/100
Light weight, powerful, and saddled with a chassis designed to withstand half as much power. A new(er)-age Shelby 427 Cobra. Good in every application except quick, multiple interchanges (like at SSR5), which it hates with intense passion. I think it is less to do with suspension setup and more to do with the car itself. A beautiful shape stock (though, truth be told, GT2 doesn't handle it's curvy, Jaguar-like shape too well), completely ruined with an ugly [R] body. The Cerbera Speed Six and 4.2 are better, even if they don't look as nice (though their [R] bodies do).
Next Car:
Toyota Sprinter Trueno BZG '96 (the 5-speed one).

Toyota Sprinter Trueno BZG '96 - 75/100

This car surprise me with it stock suspension spring = 2.3/1.0 :confuse: ! Despite of that, the car handling very nice in supersoft tire. You won't be needing FC suspension for this car, except maybe to apply some speed trick. The engine can scream to 8400 rpm too bad it sound more annoying than pleasant to hear. The power is decent, it can be use to win in many race. Although because of it spiky power figure it will be better if it has 6 gears. I love the dark blue mica color of this car :), better than R body (although it is nice too).

Next car: (Mini/MG?) MGF 1.8i VVC

MGF: 70/100
If there is one thing against this car, it is weight. There is no conceivable reason for this car to weight his much. While the engine is rather revvy and the car in itself is fun to drive, it is just far too heavy. This is especially apparent when compared to the MR-S (which is similarly fast) or any Miata (which are either similarly fast, easier to drive at the limit, or both). The [R] Body is nice, and the car is pretty quick all in all, but it's MR advantage is offset completly by it's weight, making the car sloppily tail-happy through most turns, and slalom-esque ones
Next Car: Mazda RX-7 GT-Turbo '83

Mazda RX-7 GT-Turbo '83 8.5/10

It's always fun to drive this car but sometimes it has a little bit oversteer
and sometimes some wheelspins, but the car is oke

Next Car: Mercedes Benz C43 AMG

Mercedes Benz C43 AMG: 70/100

This car has strong engine and can reach 500hp+ when fully tuned. The handling is a bit oversteer because of the heavy rear, which also make it tail happy when braking. On autumn ring the heavy body do not restrict it too much with 23"+ tire. It move like other small car like civic type R, but also as fast as those small car despite it bigger power. No R body, but it is better this way, i don't like to match elegant look and big wing.

Next car: Renault Mégane 2.0 16V Coupé

MX5 Miata A Spec - 80/100

This car has low ride height and wide body that make it very stable in corner and give a lot of grip. No R body modification, but the car already has an R look already :) . The engine is not powerfull but strong enough to make it win many races. The handling is little understeer on stock suspension, make it slower on some tight corner, FC suspension will be needed to make it fast. With plenty of grip this car is a bit hard to drift, but make it less likely to spin too.

Next car: Altezza RS200 '98

Altezza RS200 '98 80/100

the car has a lot of traction, but sometimes it has a little bit body roll and the suspension are kinda soft

Next car: Mercedes-Benz 300E 1991

Because there is no car like that in GT2, I use:
Mercedes CLK 320 Sport : 70/100
It's maximum power is lower than average, but it has smooth delivery.
It's rear heavy, creating many body roll and will attempt to throw the car sideways on every hard corner. The steering is still easy, the car will react quickly to the steering input, without snap or delay, feels like lighter car. The rear also has tendency to jiggle, so if you use hard spring lower the damper.
The stock gear is too long, so if you race FC gear is a must.
Great car for drifter, but if you want to race it reduce the tail slide as much as possible.

next car: Audi S3.

Audi S3: 75/100

this car has quite a lot of understeer, but its very fun to drive and you can even make it better if you tune it

next car: BMW 740i

appie17
next car: BMW 740i

I coulda swore I raced this monster a few times and track tested it, too but I can't find any notes on it.
