The only disappointing thing about the game is the lack of some quality cars. Also, I think it would be pretty cool to see a drag strip, i know it wouldn't be much for racing but the goal would be the preparation of the car.

But I am a hard marker.

Issues:
- The AI still needs work.
- I'm still not convinced by the rally mode - I think the rally games do it much better...

...but
- it is graphically the most impressive game I've ever laid eyes on (I'll never go the arcades again!)
- the driving model is much improved from GT2 (and I thought that was damned good) with good differentiation between FWD, RWD and 4WD, and the different engine configurations
- the driving tests are excellent, and actually provide pretty good guidance for real world driving

man, although i am a diehard GT3 (and gtplanet) fan i have to rate GT3 a 9. Sorry, there should be at least and i mean at least racing mod and used cars!

I gave it a 9.

The reason for the "low" grade :) is that there is no car damage during races. You can smash in to other cars in 300 km/h and nothing happens.

This takes away some of the realism in the game.

Besides this, I think this is one of the best games ever.

I gave it a 9

and here are the reasons why
  • There is always ALWAYS room for improvement...
  • Bring back the used cars section
  • Bring back the lower spec model cars...
  • AI could be improved. If I'm in a space you want, you can't just ram me out of the way...
  • No car damage, although the oil change facility is a nice addition
  • the Wall of God thing...

  • No car damage

I read an interview with the creator and he said that "we would need the manufactuers permission do damage their cars".

It's a really fun game, but it needs some work. There are some menu/option refinements that can be done, and a few game additions that would give the game some longevity.
