Hello everyone ^^

I'm new here but I've been playing the Gran Turismo series since it's first release with Gran Turismo 1 and since then I'm in love with this game! After some years looking for people who like to take photos of it, a friend of mine told me about this forum and he said that here I could find people who were addicted to the photo mode, just like me... And wow!! I was amazed by some pictures you people were posting here and so I thought about showing my pictures as well and guess what? Here I am. :P

Sorry for the long and boring introduction, but hey... This is my first post here and I wanted it to be something special ^^

Well, let's go to the photos.

Obs1: I'm not good at organizing things, so please don't hate me if this thing grows out of organization u.u'

Obs2: The pics are downsized because I like them this way.

Hello and welcome to :gtplanet: and to this great sub-forum.

Your pictures seem to have potential. They're well saturated and I like the exposure of some of them. You also seem to know where to place the camera to get a good angle. ;)

I hope to see more from you soon.

Regards,

Nenad

I must be dreaming. Amazing pictures, I may say, they all have great potential indeed. It would be cool if you'd participate in some of the Photomode competitions around 👍

Thank you all for your replies! =D

Hmm, someday maybe I'd enter a photo mode competition, but I still have many things to learn before it. By the way, if possible, could you please give me some tips? Any kind of tip, like the best angles or exposition levels, etc... I'd appreciate them!

Anyway, here comes the second round:

Give you tips? Many things to learn? God, your pictures are great, better than allot of people that enter competitions and one of the best I've seen in a long time. I wouldn't be admired if you won in the first or second try in a PmC or unedited type. Amaizing new set, as well. 👍 The only tip I can give you is, if you can, to try to remove the GT4 watermark, though, it is not crucial. 👍

I agree with Luis. You are very good for a beginner, it would be great if you'd enter some competitions. I love the fifth MS6 shot, great depth of field.

Wow, I'm pleasantly surprised to see this kind of debut. Removing the GT4 watermark isn't that important as they don't bother me that much, but if you can try avoid the 2D objects that are badly textured by PD. The trees in the S2000 image is an example of that; try making the 2D-ish'ness less visible by perhaps adjusting the aperture, or trying a different angle. But I must admit your tones and levels look very natural and beautiful 👍

Tips... lol.
You don't need any tip other than, do what your doing now. You would make a very formidable foe in the PMC and Unedited right now! And depending on your photo editing skills good in the other comps as well. I don't care how good you are at editing, you must start with a good shot to begin with. You have, obviously an eye for detail, and will do quite well.

Thank you all for your replies, people! I'm so glad you liked the pictures!

By the way, if you see anything that is not okay or if you have any tip for me, please don't hesitate to tell me. I'll do my best to keep improving.

This time I tried to avoid the 2d objects...
And I also tried to push the contrast and brightness balance a little more!
Hope you like it:

I've got a suggestion. Give removing the water mark a go. It gives the image a cleaner look. Nice work, keep it up!

SVX, the removal of the water mark is scheduled to the next update hehehe!
Gosh, what a shame =/ I wasn't able to remove it without messing everything up .___. ... But I'll try again for the next updates! I promise! hehehe

Time for more pictures! (omg, I love these holiday days hahaha! nothing to do the whole day except hanging out with my girlfriend and taking photos of my favourite game in the spare time! *-*)

YAYY!!!!!
HAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!

I'm SUPER glad to know that somebody likes that first RX-7 picture, because I've spent hells of hours to get those reflections and colors that way and I didn't know if it was looking too much artificial or not... u.u

Oh, and I'm using Adobe Photoshop CS4 Extended to edit them. :P

People, I don't know what is going on with my PS2... This morning I'd tried to turn it on, but It simply didn't work... I'll try to solve the problem as soon as possible but until then I'm unable to take pictures i.i... Hmm... (I guess this is called "girlfriend time"...)

Anyway, if I don't come back tomorrow...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I hope all your wishes and dreams come true in 2010!
I wish for you all the best hopes and a fantastic year! We are all blessed with the gift of life, so... Let's enjoy it to the limit! =D

Hope you like it!

Oh, and this time I cut off the water mark ^^

Here it goes...

Obs: These ones I've kept them as natural as possible... I've only cut off the water mark and resized the pictures. Not even a single brightness adjustment. Except the last one with the blur effect.

HAPPY NEW YEAR AGAIN! =D

The Mercedes set is my favorite.

I praise that you wanted to kept the the two Toyota sets as natural as possible, and I think they look pretty good even without the brightness and contrast, but, I bet that with some PS brightness and contrast they would be even better. 👍

Also, they look slightly improved without the watermark 👍, though, you should be careful, when cropping the watermark, to not crop the car aswell, that was what almost happened in the second shot of both Toyota set.

But, keep it up, and happy new year for you too :D

Hello everyone!
It's been a while since my last update here, huh?
Well, this year has started busy as Hell!! Too many exams to do and too many people to hang out with!
But at least it all brought me some happinness and great times...

No more time for postponing! Let's go to the pictures! hehehe

I'm starting today a tribute to my favourite series of cars, the Mitsubishi's Lancer Evolution!

You may call me crazy or whatever, but I just love them!

Great update. I love the first and fourth Evo VIII shots. You should seriously consider entering the tournament, check here for information. I'd love to see some new competition in the final tourney.

:D Thank you for your comment!

Hmm... Ok, ok! I'll enter the next tournament! But as I said before, there are many things to improve yet and I don't know if I have experience enough to win it or even to go to the finals :S
But I'll try! I think it will be fun =D

You'll do it great. Even if you don't get to the finals, the most important thing is to participate and have fun with it.

I love this last set, every picture has it's beauty, they all have great angles and are quite cleaned for PmC pictures. Another tip I would like to give you, is to try at max. to keep the wheels of the car spinning in track shots, because of they're horrific rendering (not your fault). 👍

they're all looking good. probably one of the best beginning galleries i've seen here
in a long time. well done!

Sorry, I couldn't resist... It was stronger than me... It was not my fault... Oh, God... I'm... I'... I... ****!! I was staring at those GT-ONE pictures and I was wondering how they would look if I edit them!!!!!! u.u

Oh, forgive me for this, but I HAD to do it... lol

Here it goes!

I love the second shot. Great tones, lighting, and composition.

So, how's the tournament entry coming? :D I have a feeling that if you play your cards right, you'll do very well.
