Actors Needed!​

What I Need You To Do

Basically I want to do a “Race Wars” scene at SSR7. If you don’t know what I mean, here’s a video reminder.



So just line up in pairs, wait for your turn to race, then on green, you go for it. Think of it as a very organised drag racing room!

Please try and avoid crashing into each other, rammers will be kicked and so on. When you’re coming back from a run, keep to the side of the road so you’re not in the way. Likewise for the guys racing, try and stay within your lane.

I’ll be giving directions through the text chat in-game because I don’t have a mic.

When Is It?

No date has been set yet, but expect it to be mid-August.

Where Will It Be Held?

My lobby. Send me a friend request well in advance so there’s no issues on the day.

What Car Do I Need?

A 400 to 420PP road car. Stick to normal cars like Impreza’s, Silvia’s, Civic’s and the like. Try not to bring a heavily detuned Ferrari 458.
Premium models only please, it makes the photo taking a lot easier.
No race cars.
No concept cars.
Tuner cars (Amuse, Spoon, etc) are okay.
You may use power limiters and ballast to keep the PP down if you want to use a car that has way more than 420PP stock.

What Mods Must I Have?

Comfort soft tyres at best. Smoke boosts ratings, so feel free to light ‘em up off the line.
Wheels and aero kits are encouraged if your car can have them and bright paint is fine. We’re street racing, so look the part basically. You don’t have to rice the car up, but don’t turn up with a stock car.

Other than that, it’s free reign with modifications as long as you’re under 420PP.

I'm also on holiday for the first week of August. Hence the mid-August estimated time. I'm in GMT+0 and I'll probably do it at 5 or 6pm.

I'm not sure what day yet. I cant predict that far into the future. :lol: If people want me to adjust the times, that's fine. Nothing is concrete yet. 👍
 
This look like a great idea! I wish it was setup earlier though, since I am on holidays atm and I have a load of time to kill.
 
I can do 7pm, just not on a Saturday. I have TOCA on Saturdays.
 
I can do any time before 8, preferably on a Saturday (if I can resist the temptation to try starting a series again and it's actually successful :boggled: ). When the time eventually comes to the hiring I'll bring a modified CR-Z (not sure if it'll be Honda or Spoon yet :embarrassed:). Might try a lighter version of either of your tunes. :)
 
Wow, this is a pretty awesome story. Good job. Sad that there won't be a chapter for more than a month though...

Anyway, I'd be willing to help with the race wars/drag racing thing, and should be able to make it. :)
 
The only Saturday when I'll be free will be the 23rd of July, because TOCA is taking up all of my Saturday evenings.
 
Like I said, the date and time isn't concrete yet so I'm sure there will be a time and date where you'll all be able to come at the same time. If Saturday gets in the way of racing leagues and such, maybe Friday or Sunday? Just throwing the ideas out. Hopefully we'll find a date anyway. :D The only thing I can confirm for now is that it'll be mid-August when we do this.

Also, I don't mind if you want to bring your own tuner shop cars or fan fic cars for a cameo appearence. Just as long as they're detuned to 420PP and such. :D
 
Looks interesting. I'm GMT+8, and I'm usually vacant on the following times:

Saturday, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
Sunday, all the way, 9:00 am to 9:00 pm (unless I have to go with my mom somewhere)
Weekdays, 4:30 pm to 9:00 pm.
 
Hmmm....-8 GMT is an awkward time, provided everyone else is on the eastern hemisphere:dunce:

The 4th-5th august is best, and my times are:

2PM GMT - 7PM GMT

I'll bring my Volvo wagon some premium car

I think because a lot of these stories are based in Asia (Japan specifically), so it just fits to have a girl of Asian nationality. :P

But mostly because we all like Asian girls. :D:tup:
 
I'm thinking I could revive Hawk and his white FD Civic for this event. Also, I'll be free until August 27th after the 16th of July, which is when the 2nd TOCA Series ends (which I lead by 59pts :D).

Oi Roj, if I'm going to take part, can you make it friendlier to my time zone? I know some people will prefer a 7-8PM time GMT+0, but can you make it so that I'm at the very least awake when it's on?
