In case you are serious I suggest you to go in 3D modelling forums, where they create high poly 3d models, and ask them if someone is interested. Do a google search. People here is not ready to give you a good support. You know, and you need to looks believable, reliable. In case you are just trolling, well good try. : )

Ok, lets get it straight, i have my own design studio and i have more than 5 yeas in the industry. I done 3d jobs for many times, and i know how to fined reliable 3d modelers. It's not so hard, if it is for you let me know, i'll give you a contact

in all countries prices are different, in some of them it's normal price.
Any case its more or less now, so many details need to be discussed defer anything can be done
Ummm, your so called "normal price" is $500? In your dreams. Between licensing and wage, you're looking at $20,000 to $100,000 PER CAR.
And again, i'll pay money to 3d models not to Sony or PD
So you say you'll pay money to people to make models for PD? Isn't it Kaz's job to hire people to model? If you want to get anywhere, walk up to PD's headquarters and hand them $10,000,000. Sorry, but you're coming off as a ten year-old kid with a dream, and if you do have a studio and all that, show us pictures!

The point is, Sony is NEVER going to accept models from you when PD could just hire more people.

Although OP is probably trolling, chances are he's being serious so I'll also respond seriously to his idea.

First, I think he is right by saying that $200 is a reasonable price for a 3d model, but not for a 3d model of PD quality. It doesn't take six months to 3d model a car, believe me I have done some car 3d modeling myself. You can model a car in a few weeks. I think what Kazunori meant was that the licensing, getting a real version of the car, taking photos, test driving the real car, tweaking physics for the car, implementing it into the game and all takes 6 months in total.

However, you can't just hire any 3d modeler. I have read in these forums that creating 3d models for the ps3 is more difficult than doing it for the pc or other consoles. Multiplatforms games work on ps3 though, so maybe this is bull****s and models can just be imported from 3ds max.

Also, as far as I know, PD has never outsourced any development, and I don't think they will change their behaviour because of a post on GT Planet.

If you are serious about this and are a really rich person, you need to contact Sony as an investor. You can then tell Sony that you want nothing back for your investments, as long as they make the car models that you want to be included in the game.

I just have some skinning experience on rFactor and Gtr2 mods.
You could contact modding teams, like Enduracers they have great skills. TopGun is doing a 458 GT2, and there's a very very talented girl, Izukon, she made the Super GT mod for GTR2 and is doing other great stuff.

Yes, i guess it's a good way. I know PD has never outsourced any development, and it is a big barrier, they don't hare new modelers also. But contacting with Sony can be more productive. Thanks

Unless you're rather wealthy, then this is all just silly vaporware.

Good day.

:) In my experience it takes less time

At least two weeks to model in CAD but the problem is that it isnt modeled in CAD its PS3 code... do you have any experience in codding PS3s???

I cant believe your being taken seriously... even if it was just CAD 200$ for one model?????

I can't either, he's either a kid with a dream, a troll, or he's REALLY confused.
Yeah lol you are right, but you never know. If he got some money he could finance SMS because with C.A.R.S. they need money to develop the game further. So I don't have anything to loose posting links here. And I'm bspecing my bobs atm so.. :)

I thought they implement the cars for free because it´s a good advertise for the car manufacterers?!

It's more important for Polyphony Digital to have certain manufacturers cars in their game, than it is for the manufacturers. Good advertising? I don't want to sound like a d-bag, but do you really think that Ferrari needs Gran Turismo to advertise? I'm sure if old man Enzo were alive today he'd say "What are you some kind of du se pazzo?".

Just go to a GTA modding site. They make cars for the game all the time, and some of them are really close to the real deal. They do that stuff for fun~

Serioulsy, what next?

This was a model I did myself. It was my own personal project. Based on how hard it was, if I did this for someone, I'd want to get payed for it. This was just for my portfolio.

With those tinted windows it looks like a standard car.
j/k I thought the first pic was real :P

Ok, thanks to all for posts in this thread.
I'm not post this thread to prove something to someone, so if you're waiting from me something like "a'm not a small boy!" or "i'm not trolling i'm series" it's not the right thread. Sorry.

Those models are good but not good enough for PD.

@GT88, then why did you post this thread? Seriously? Prove to us something or no one is going to take you seriously.

Fly me to Italy so I can model the Aventador.

Oh and I also need a workstation class laptop and 3d software.

Fly me to Germany so I can model the Veyron please, where do I apply? What is the wage? Since I'll be doing tough modeling for the PS3, I expect to make at least $50,000 a year.
