I guess they had plenty of German arms captured from WWII, but this makes me wonder how much were just wasted, or destroyed. You see in films about how the American GI's were after the Lugers during the war, but I guess there were unfortunate flip side to that coin. :crazy:
 


This may be the one if it has the same trigger as the PPQ. It's like a P7 in a Walther body.

I wish FN would make a subcompact or pocket-slim FNS9.

Thanks guys. It's a Harrington and Richardson with a 4.7m serial that dates it to post Korean war era... 1953-54. Had one of the most beautiful stocks of all the guns my FFL got in recently. Receiver is obviously in great condition as well. I might try to grab an actual Springfield, or maybe a Winchester at least, once he prices up some more guns.

It's dark-ish, but looks fine. 👍 Have you tried it on? I'm still waiting for the pic of the gun with the optics, sling & bayonet on. OK, maybe no bayonet. :D
 
The second picture turned out okay. It shows the color of the sling pretty well. Yes, I have tried the sling on with the rifle. I guess I could grab a picture or two with the sling attached to the rifle.

I ordered an optic just half an hour before taking the sling pictures. I finally decided on going with an EOTech EXPS2-0. The order says it will have two day shipping. Hopefully, that means the sight will ship tomorrow and I will get it on Tuesday. I would actually expect that it would more likely ship on Monday and Wednesday would be the more likely arrival date.

The 16" barrel Tavor has no option for attaching a bayonet. The 18" barrel however does. If I need a sharp stabbing thing, then I can just make sure to grab my Ka-Bar and have it with me. :sly:

I tried to get a picture of the rifle with the sling hanging, but taking a picture that way is not very easy. :lol:

That looks awesome. I can't wait to see it with EOTech on it. 👍 Have you started practicing putting back the paracord into sling? You use the "cordage" in a "survival situation", great. You better be able to weave the thing back into a sling!(preferably while blindfolded) :p
 
A bayonet on a bullpup would be the dumbest thing ever. In fact, a bayonet on anything with a pistol grip is utterly stupid and pointless.
 
Rifle case...... That Condor rile bag/case I brought up before is now $66.95. You can actually find one another $3 or so cheaper, but I like this seller(Botach), so I'm going to go thru them again...... Question is, I'm not military, my AR is black, but I don't want black bag. Do you guys think OD green, or tan's too much? Although I like tan the best, OD is color more natural to the environment here, so I think I want OD.

I'm gonna order that case I posted(remember they make smaller version, too). Question now is tan, or OD green.
 
@Brett Let's go for this one. It's better than my Condor, or your Midway USA one......



I'm sold. For $67 shipped, you could do a whole lot worse.

Edit: I just went with 'tan'. I went back 'n' forth between tan, o/d green + digital camo like three times & said enough's enough!

The EOTech EXPS2-0 that I ordered came in last week, along with the case from Midway USA. I finally got around to taking pictures of the Tavor with the EOTech on top of it.

First, a picture with the EOTech and the Tavor, along with the previously pictured paracord sling.

I think my case arrived at my work today, but I've come down with food poisoning over the weekend, so I didn't make it in work today. Maybe tomorrow. Second time I had food poisoning, I don't wish it on anyone. :crazy:
 
Nice optic @Brett! It's the same one I have. Personally I really like how precise the center dot is. It makes hitting varmint targets at 100 yards a piece of cake.
