Yes. But online real-time physics are what needs to still be fixing in GT5, and it better will be resolved for GT6. since the offline real-time physics are relatively fine, I'm not sure of the actual "advantage" one could have by having a faster running physics engine, it's minimal at best, probably the human response time couldn't cope... maybe it can, I bet PC sims run higher and give the FFB wheel more info resulting in a better feel.
Anything PD can do to get physics up to higher standards, I will send them a big digital hug when released.
Edit: I also think what's overlooked is that the more accurate/fast the physics engine is, the better your equipment has to be... can a G27 accept a higher resolution of input and in turn send it back to the game in real time? I know the new Fanatec and the T500RS use more precise higher resolution parts.
Anyway, should GT6 up physics engine speed, I doubt it can be noticed by a controller racer in the slightest.
