It would be even more neat if this post was made in an existing thread. But no I wouldn't like that idea, it would mean I'd always be racing certain tracks at day/night, it would be much better if the times were preset for GT mode events (assuming there are day/night transitions) or you could choose yourself in spot races and arcade mode races.
