Recommended Cars for Beginner Events?

Can someone please recommend cars I can buy to win the following Beginner events:
Light Weight K Cup
Spider and Roadster
Sport Truck Race?
Thanks, I've wasted a lot of money buying cars that can't win!

Light Weight K Cup: Suzuki Cappuccino (useful in Suzuki cup too)
Spider and Roadster: The same Cappuccino tuned or maybe an MX-5 (the MX-5 will see further use)
Sport Truck Race: Dodge Ram (a very good car for many other races also)

I used these and won comfortably. 👍

Yeah, but there isn't a lightweight Rally car for K-car cup, there's definitely no convertible Rally cars for Spider & Roadster cup, and Rally Cars are not trucks so they can't enter the Sport Truck race!

There's a huge list in post #1 of which vehicles have been used in a totally stock (oil change permitted) configuration to enter & win these events.

The Prizecar Autobianchi Arbarth from Sunday Cup should massacre the Lightweights, any of the trucks (Dodge, Chevy, Ford or Toyota) can easily win the Sport Truck races with no modifications, and you're spoiled for choice on entries for the Spider & Roadster event! You could even take a Chevy SSR truck to win both Sport Truck and Spider & Roadster events!
If you want good A-spec points, the '54 Corvette is a favourite, otherwise take a Viper SRT/10 and leave the AI eating dust (not my idea of fun though. )

Just curious, what have you bought that can't win these events?

Any of the trucks can do quite well, as long as you have the money to upgrade them. However, I find that the Dodge Ram is the best, as you don't have to do a lot to it. The others, I don't know.

I don't know, I thought the Ford SVT Lightning was pretty good.

I used the '97 MGF on the Spider and Roadster series, and a NOS'd Honda Beat for the K Cup.

Light Weight K Cup (honda civic hatchback 1992 with lvl 1 reduction weight
Spider and Roadster (you will race against bmw z3 roadster... so.. chose a better car than this...
Sport Truck Race? find out wich race unlock a truck to race... there are all the same in speed and handling... but i recomend the toyota tacoma....

Honda S800 race car or stock version tuned a little
Spider and Roadster
A slighty modded MX-5 will do the trick, you are going to need this car for the roadster endurence-so keep it!
Sport Truck Race?
As said before, the ram is a god choice
