Have you reached 100% in a full (GT1,GT2,GT3,GT4) GT title?

The X1 is more than ikely going to be available via challenge. Its going to have its own championship, like the Formula GT and other F1 types did in GT3 and GT4. As well as having a normal colored one and a Black variant. The Black vraint will most likely be a 100% reward. The Normal X1 I would imagine ould be a reward for say La Sarthe or Nurburgring 24 hours race.

That's what I think. Either Nurburgring 24h race or Le Mans 24h. maybe a driving challenge series

I'm a completionist for a lot of games GT included. I got 100% in GT4 and I intend to do so in GT5 so long as it doesn't involve using online play. Even then I might go for it anyway.

I really doubt players will have to complete the game before using the x1, it will probably be bloody expensive though. I'm afraid the x1 will be a little too perfect (think Citroen GT) and will be come the cheater car of choice. I wish for a gt damage/wear system that were realistic enough to discourage players from using something like the x1 on rough tarmac stages or abusing the curbing, or using time attack cars to run endurance events.
maybe in GT6.
BTW I completed all events and missions in GT4 but my save file never showed progress past 99.7% go fig.

I think the X1 will be a prize car after doing some endurance races, as the above posts suggest. And I hope that it will be. Not some 100% complete prize car. I can't do that :P

Being someone who is completely excited to drive this thing, I do NOT wish 100% thing. I truly don't think they have it set up that way. They WANT you to drive it, not drive it in a year from now (or ever). I do plan on trying 100% this game, but over a period of time. I will do what I want to do and complete percentages along the way.

I dont really care for the X1, and as such I dont really care when its unlocked. Preferably it will be isolated to its own event, and I absolutely do not wish to see it online.

What he said.

I hope it doesn't take 100% completion to earn it as much as im not very struck on the x1 I would like to try it out I must admit maybe 75% completion reward would be ok :), afterall I only did GT4 to 95.something% till it broke my PS2 but hopefully ill manage to get 100% this time round

I always said that I would get 100% on GT4 before 5 came out, finished it to 100% earlier this year. I didn't really do it for the prize car or anything, more for me.

I will aim to get 100% in GT5 also, but won't be in a hurry to do so.

Unless they can top the X1 with a better prize (be it a feature, a hidden course, a rare car or an unlockable company to buy cars from or something), I hope it's the 100% reward.

Well, GT1 and GT2 were roughly 75-80% complete. GT3 and GT4 on the other hand, I did complete 100%. It took me around two years to do it, for both GT3 and GT4. If there are two versions of the X1, the blue one, and the carbon fiber one. Maybe they could have the carbon fiber one for the 100% completion.

It won't be a prize for 100% most likely awarded after completing a set number of championships or something like that.

You will WIN the Red Bull X1 , its a car PD will want to show so it has to be moderately available to people 100% to drive / own the Red Bull X1 is stupid your saying only die hard fans will be able to drive a car that has Red Bull on the side ? please ! they want as many people to rag there creation as possible

I've never reached 100% and don't think I will in GT5.

My problem is I do many of the events that I enjoy over and over with different cars and setups to see how many A-spec points I can get. This to me is more fun than racing events that I really have no interest in just to get 100%. However, if I had the time, I might try but I don't see that happening.

So, hopefully you don't have to get 100% to get the X1.

I dont really care for the X1, and as such I dont really care when its unlocked. Preferably it will be isolated to its own event, and I absolutely do not wish to see it online.

Roh,

Although I do agree that this car shouldn't be used online, at least for time attacks on all tracks. Hopefully PD like you said should be isolated into its own event. Could you imagine new players that log into a friendly race. Then get blow by the X1, that kinda reminds me of the old Ridge Racer days and when people have the devil and angelus cars unlocked online :D

So the x1 can pull 8.75g, I cant imagine the drivers would last very long under those kind of g's. lol imagine a 24hr race of lemans in an x1. after about an hour id imagine the driver turning to mush

I'm hoping it'll be made available after completion of a license. Doubt they would lock it away based on game completion, thus make it harder to access, mainly because of the amount of money they've spent promoting the game using it... i think it'll be immediately obvious what is needed to acquire it either way

Not really in topic, but I wonder if we will be able to tune the air sucking effect of the X1 fan. By disabling it completely acceleration from medium speeds should be quicker. Top speed should increase too, somewhat.

^^How would a jet engine work if it doesn't have any air......

100% GT2, 3 and 4.

I personally don't care for the X1 at all. Seems too fast, too unrealistic. Like driving the FZR2000 in NFS2:SE haha.

If I go through the whole game and don't drive it I wont be fussed.

No.. (maybe in GT1.... but I'm not sure) but I was close to 100% in every GT. (I've had 100% in GT:C and GT4/5:Prologue). I have planned to get 100% in GT4 but I didn't complete the last 24h race...
Heh.. that's my story ;)

I think that we will be able to drive the X1 in the special event number 3

jsmenuspecialevents-640x360.jpg

which hasn't been shown yet. And maybe we can unlock it for the rest of the game by reaching the top level in that challenge.

Probably by winning all teh special events

Adn the poll is partially useless and

a) some people on here may lie... and there is no way of proving this

b) GTPers arre are much more commited to GT than others. Even if everyone here has completed atleast one GT, most people wont have. Your asking an *insert party here* caucus weather they would vote for *insert pollie from party*... a much greater group will.

I haven't finished a game yet..... I get board part way through and restart. One feature I do want in GT5 is multi game saves. SO i can play through get f1 cars get the X1 and stuff and do some endurance races, but then be able to haev another save where I can restart and race and tune a civic type r or mx-5 without losing all the stuff I had done.

At an almost 2/1 ratio of not completing a game, I'd say they're being pretty honest.

I'd like to see special trophy cars for getting all gold licenses or 100% completion. That's what made me come back to the previous GT's again and again.

I dont know but personally I see the x1 as a very small part of the game. Are you really going to spend that much of the game focused on it?
The car is so fast your only going o be racing other x1s with it.
Lol they didnt take 6 years on gt5 only to have everyone zipping aorund only in x1s after they finishsed the game.
The real fun will be in the everyday production cars and the realism.

I want the car to be a little difficult to acquire, but not 100% completion difficult. As long as you have to A-Spec the endurance race/championship series to get it, it should be OK.
