Unfortunately, yes, 0 is enough. Although I STRONGLY don't recommend using it in all your races from now on.

No, it's not that. Using a X2011 as a car near the start of the game will surely spoil the experience for a newer player.

My biggest issue with the X1 is mostly with online racing. Just about every newbie that enter a open lobby thinks it's OK to use the X1.

Personally, I could care less if someone has this car but like the others have said it totally ruins the whole Gran Turismo experience when your first car is the X1.

I feel that this should be a car that is earned and not just given to everyone or at the least you shouldn't be able to use the X1 online until your level 30-35 or so.

I see your point it is annoying when people use the X2011/10 online when you tell them that its a room for other cars. But then thats what restrictions are for.

There is no such car in GT5. It's X2010 or X2011.

It's a game... if someone wants to use the X2010/X2011 then they are allowed to. Likewise, anyone who doesn't like it can just ignore it. If you're worried about them being used in online play, then just use custom lobby restrictions. So stop with the elitist comments, such as "Great, another newbie with an X1."

@kierster99 : If I remember correctly, you should automatically receive the car once you've downloaded the DLC, there's no need to purchase it with in-game credits.

I personally only used it for the 24hr. races to save a few hrs. of driving time. I could park and rest w/o pausing for my driving sessions. I agree though, that it would be better for someone inexperienced to start out slower. Those cars are freaky fast. A friend was watching me and couldn't believe the turns that those things can take.

You must be on Lv. 40 in either A-spec or B-spec, but you're supposed to have purchased the latest car packs before getting the car.

No, to purchase one, a brand spanking new X2010, you need to be level 40, but PD give you 2 S.Vettel versions before then anyways, one at B-Spec level 35 and the other for a bronze in the S.Vettel challenge.

To actually use it, as long as you have it, you aren't restricted by any leveling system at all.

My advice would be like most people's. Don't use it unless you really, really feel the need to. Which is…eh…never, if I'm honest.

Same goes for that. Only you have to pay for the first DLC pack to gain access to it in the first place.

For use of X2010(or X2011) you can freely borrow the car displayed on the car lists on one of your friend's profile, but to actually buy it, you must reach Lv. 40 in either A or B spec even though it comes on exhibition at Lv. 30, and same goes for X2011 too.(to purchase the X2011 you have to be prepared with an additional car pack in advance)

Nop , I have DS3 and only can do bronze , it wouldn't be fair for the non-rammers to pay for the noobs

When PSN was getting anonymously hacked and was down I started with a RX7 and a Challenger.
But now with being online you can buy the x2011 or borrow the X2010....
Using a X2010 or X2011 as you first car takes the fun out of the game....
