Whatever you do, don't jump into the deep end like I did. I tried the Sebring 300 first and it took me nearly 3 hours to finish. I found that the Indy 100 and the Road Atlanta 100 to be the shortest of the enduros at about an hour each.

Indy is a 250 enduro that takes about as long as any of the 100 mile circuit races. Only it felt like it took twice as long as the Catalunya or Atlanta 100 due to it being spectacularly tedious.

Also finished my 4th endurance today. Without a shadow of a doubt, the Bathurst 100 ranks as the most fun short endurance race I've tried so far (expecting that to change once I unlock the Spa 100). I even ended up with a +100% XP mod in one of the subsequent prize spins. Which is something I'll definitely be coupling with the +30% credit bonus for the Nurb 125 tonight.

Bathurst is one of my all time favorite tracks!! Would love an endurance race on that track. :dopey:

(expecting that to change once I unlock the Spa 100).

Unlocked it yesterday, as I wanted it to be my first. Just needed to do one of the other showcases, 4 laps on Spa in the Rain. I still wished there was the option to enable fuel and tire wear without damages, as I'm bound to lose concentration and crash at one point (at least on some of the other tracks).

I don't know what made me select the V8 Supercars for the Stormfront Shootout series.

Got to that series last night, nice races, could potentially have been nice, but for some unexplained reason I chose Formula E. :yuck: Turned into an awful chore.

Does anyone else think it would be cool if when you chose the color of your car, the manufacturer name for the colors would be listed? Like Giallo or Verde Ithica etc...

Yep. I'd also like them to go back to FM4's ability to check the values of manufacturer colours. Makes it easier to copy them over to other vehicles.

There is no need! I just discovered that If a car has a certain color you want for another car, just paint car A with that color and save, then select car B and go to the "previous colors" tab and that color will be listed. :D

I just noticed this yesterday! Was pleasantly surprised

The Donkervoort GTO. I cant be the only person disappointed with it. Its essentially a larger Caterham with a V8. What's not to love? Except its terribly slow...

Its got to be me right?

IIRC it's not even a V8, I always thought it was a V8 until I did some googling a while back and found out it's a 5 cylinder. It also weighs quite a bit more than the Caterham, with the Caterham coming in at around 500kg and the Donkervoort around 700kg.

But yes I was always shocked at how slow the car was compared to what I was expecting.

Edit: Maybe the V8 confusion comes from it usually being called the Donkervoort D8 GTO

VXR
That's fantastic news then, as the previous colour 'glitch' didn't appear in Forza 5.

This is doubly good, as I decided yesterday I wanted a Polestar Blue 850 R.
Sorry guys, paint doesn't stick :( reverts back to stock once you leav the shop

That's what had me thinking it was a V8. I suppose it would take to some tuning and upgrades, but now I doubt its going to be worth the time effort and credits. LOL well there's always the Caterham... I can't wait for it to snap oversteer its way into the nearest tire wall.

Anyone else trying to play the career with only the reward cars? I'm trying and haven't touched my 20.1 million+ credits.

The way I've been doing it is to see which cars are eligible for every series and go test drive them all around Lime Rock Park or Watkins Glen. Whichever one I gel the most with is the one I'll pick. I only change it up if the stupid fast AI glitch irritates me enough to change to another car.

To an extent. The only car I had bought to do career is the F40, otherwise I've pretty much stuck to rewards cars. Only cars I've bought apart from the F40 is the F50, one Chevy Indy (later won a Honda Indy in a spin) and the Lotus E23 (which I then won the credits for when I got it in a spin). Somehow I'm up to around 32 Million credits now.

Can you check the values so you can reproduce it manually?

Didn't even think to try that. BUT on the bright side, once you select the color you want, you can then select "fine tune" and get the exact hue, saturation and brightness. @Populuxe Cowboy
You can, but they probably won't match. Tried taking the values from that bright glossy orange from Mclaren, but it didnt match. It was actually much darker. Also metallic paints will be impossible because they only give you one color layer.

It looked quite close to me. Probably just TV calibration. The metallics im sure you can fiddle with and get it pretty close at least. Better to have a starting point I suppose than to have to do it from scratch.

So... Did the Indy 250. Was in first place until lap 86, where I had a crash. Made it to the pit and came out in second place. Got back first place in a couple of laps... Then on the last lap some AI car brakes hard on the straight.. With me right behind.. Major crash again. Got in second place. Three seconds behind first place...

That was the most boring race I've had in a racing game for years..... And I'll have to do it again. Not cool, AI. Not cool.

So it's been a Week simce i've got FM6 an here is me Drivatar Stats for myself ( of course )

Total Races 247
Total Distance 3.099.93 Miles
Total Hours played 108
Cars Owned 62

Seems i'm addicted................a bit :D

That is exactly why I leave rewind on. Could not imagine running something like that only to crash and have to do it all over again. Working 60 hours a week I simply don't have enough time to be able to re-run events like that. I applaud your determination to run that with rewind off, no way I would ever do that.

Whoa no kidding. Where did you find your TOTAL hours? I only have "Time driven", time spent driving, time spent upgrading, the different times for Avatar. I have spent a LOT of time painting. There must be a total "in game time" somewhere. I would guess mine is around 60 hours. I have had F6 since the 10th.

Can't be tv calibration as they are both on the same tv. It was a lot darker than normal. Even put them side by side on the paint swatches. Was not as vibrant at all :( I'm not sure it's even recreatavle.

You can find your total game time in the game hub, on your Xbox home hover over the game and press start, view game hub and then view leaderboards.

Thank you I will check that tonight. Been wondering what my stats were.
