Should I remove the Fashion Budget record statistic from the Record Book? It doesn't exactly have a limit after you buy all clothes, but I think a Record to see how many times someone can continually buy the same clothes is pointless.

Just want everyone's opinion on it.

Nah... I think it's silly to remove any of the records...

Kickstart should be replaced for instance as no-one on this board has made the maximum yet...

But it has a Maximum, in which most people will be able to reach when they find a secret to it. There's no point for that.

Any record with a limit does not really belong in the Record Book.

Also, I don't see how Fashion and Auto-Upgrade Budget are anything alike...
 
But the Kickstart might then have a time on it... quickest time to get maximum might be a good record?

They're alike as they're meaningless stats that it's no great difficulty to get high except that it will take quite a lot of time and effort to do...

It doesn't really matter to me-- I added those misc categories late in the VC-- more to make it complete (all non maximum stats) then because there was a demand for it (and there wasn't because I don't think any of them ever got filled)-- I think we should leave it up to Jimmy-- do you want to update it.

If you look back at the previous versions of the VC book, you will see I added numerous categories and expanded rankings from either 1-3 to 5--- mainly just to make it more competitive when I added the ranking system-- I got rid of the ranking system when I expanded the stats with the misc categories because it gave an unfair advantage to those of us with 500 hours on our VC saves--- it would have mainly moved me and KM farther away from the rest of you.

I say leave it to you.
 
what is auto upgrade budget??

why dont we leave the fashion budget, you think people buying the same clothes is pointless, what about doin the same firefighter missions 8 times just to get more fires, or leavin a bmx on its front wheel for days or doin paramadic 8 times to get number of people saved up. Its all the same. What about weapons budget the winner is the one who sites there and spends the most time buying the weapons even if they already have that wepona and unlimited ammo. I say leave the fashion budget, if you dont like buying clothes more than once dont, if you think its pointless have a look at the other records and just see how many are just as "pointless"

i partially agree with what you're saying... but as far as the buying stuff goes, i personally feel they should all be taken out.. in order to buy something you just have to sit there and press x, but in order to do the firefighter mission 8 times, you have to drive around and put out fires which actually requires you to actually complete a part of the game...
 
And you get CR points and money for it... I got alot of fires put out only because I failed firefighter alot at higher levels--usually for a stupid reason...

It really doesn't matter-- if you have the stomach to watch CJ strike a pose a bazillion then you are a glutton for punishment and deserve any record you can get in that stat :crazy: -
 
excatly my point spuds, if you can put up with it then you can have it. If you can be bothered buy clothes and do 800000 firefighter or paramedic misisons you can have the records. I say leave em in

Exactly my feelings. Well said.

I see where you're coming from, too, Small_Fryz, but I just can't see any need in keeping it.

The poll is 50-50, and my vote would take the Record out, so that's how I'm seeing it. Sorry, but I don't see a need.
