No ultrabeat spamming in here? :dopey:

Anyway yesterday I drove my friends mums megance CC with the 2.0 petrol engine.

Car was slow till you got it up to around 5000rpm. Whenever pulling off in first even a slight dab on the acceleratot would make the engine revs rise rapidly. I figured that this was a very rev happy engine. Later that day when I came home and researched the car I found out why, its a toyota vvt unit? (whatcar wasnt very informative)

Anyway the visibility in the car was crap, the rides pretty comfy but could do with being a bit firmer, but then again the car is extremly heavy.

I wasnt used to driving such a long wheelbase car especially with such poor so I nearly scratched the **** out of it on a bollard.

TBH I didnt enjoy driving this car down little side streets etc as I was worried about clipping other vehicles due to its size and most importantly the crap visibility. This car made me drive slow down narrow roads compared to hatch backs.

I also noticed some people giving me double looks in this car thinking what someone my age is doing with it. Never had that trouble with the CLK AMG, but then again it was nightime and I was concentrating on the road.

I think its a solid cruising machine for woman, but thats about it really. Not my cup of tea, of for woman that arent too confident in their driving skills.

Oh god.......isn't there anyone interested? This is definitely sad i got to say....well i was wondering, since no one wants to run this club, maybe i can run this Renault Fan Club. But i don't know if anyone will approve on anything. Should I start a new thread on the Renault Fan Club or just post it here? Well at least i tried searching first!

My mate just bought a mint 5 turbo with only 36,000 miles on it. I had a drive the other day and it's really good. I was surprised at how sorted it still feels. Quick too when the boost is going.
