I know this devs from discord for review copy - they gave Deluxe Edition and how many teams can say that they did the same...
Most review copies I've ever received were the top-spec game edition. There's exceptions, but not many.

CEO recently said its 80:20 console to pc ratio, that would make it about 250 people total
Maybe this is not changing too much but Rennsport is also on Epic Games Store i think. So there could be like 10 morebpeople or something? :D

It's a shame with Rennsport because I really like how it drives overall, it's very engaging and prefer the driving model in this to PMR quite a lot. It's just hurt in content level and lack of engaging single player stuff.

The roadmap is decent, I really hope the price reduction and the new content will encourage people to give it a go. I think there's a real gem under the surface here.

Its not all lost yet. They still want to fight for customer. Price reduction + fixing single player + more content are idication that they want to turn things around. Lets wait and see. On PC maybe they have less chances but on consoles there is really lack of more sim racing games on current gen consoles.

It's a shame no console games have a full TCR licence. Without BTCC and Super Touring cars, again for console, there's a big hole from production type racing like MX-5 Cup to GT cars.

With this game having the Honda and Hyundai TCR cars it helps a little. GT7 having the Hyundai TCR(R) seems like a start. Forza Motorsport having a good amount of touring cars(from BTCC to TCR to WTCC models) is cool, but seemed too mashed up to me.

I hope Rennsport can deliver a good TCR experience.

Free update & DLC delayed again

The roadmap does look promising, if they can actually deliver it somewhere near that schedule.

Yeah, Kuala Lumpur would cool. If they get super touring in that Part II... trigger will be pulled. Other than that, it's not drawing me in.

I think if PMR had knocked it out the park, I'd feel a bit like I have to get Rennsport to collect another racing game. (On PS5P)Feel like I been burned by NASCAR 25 and PMR.

Update and DLC pushed back to May (at least) as they transition to self-publishing following the Nacon split.

Is that confirmed by the developers? This game is looking like a bit of a ****show thus far. First, "the update is ready to go but we need to self-publish so April is when DLC is coming out" Now, the Endurance pack is not coming until May at the earliest? 🤣

To be fair, now the Court has been appointed to Nacon, it may be a lot more complicated than they thought to "decouple" legally. I imagine absolutely EVERYTHING Nacon signs has to be Court approved now and we know how slowly courts move.

Yes

Rennsport 2026 roadmap, as of 30th April 2026

  • Additional Content: Following the release of Endurance Classics Part 1 targeted for May, we will be adding WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, Sebring International Raceway, and the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport.
  • Summer Update: Targeted for this summer, this will see the introduction of the Hockenheimring Classic, multiple new cars, track mods, and additional features we hope you will enjoy.
  • Autumn Update: We have two updates planned for this autumn, both bringing additional tracks and cars, and more.
  • Winter Update: This is the target for our second major DLC wave.
Old Hockenheim should be fun, and at least they are now being honest and upfront about delays. No more promising content until it is absolutely ready to go and available.

Nice to see them pivot to a more open strategy of communication and also nice to see a company admit they got it wrong.

Interesting to see how the visual overhaul pans out.

I'm really looking forward to Rennsport getting the Touring Cars Part 1 DLC !

So, in their current states, what would be a better option for console: PMR or this?
RENNSPORT !!!
