while we await the next update , DLC and self - publishing switch , Rennsport has begun teasing the future.

It's modern day interprétation ( or extreme restomod ) of the Mercedes 190 E Cosworth from the 1980 s .

The deluxe edition price cut is live on Steam. Presumably coming on Thursday for console.

I assume it'll stay at the lower price beyond the 27th May it currently shows. Either way, deluxe edition is £32.17 in the UK.

Interestingly when you hit the standard edition is asks you to buy the deluxe edition and prices the standard at £41.99.

The game (one version or another) will be on constant rotating discounts so it shows up better on the storefronts



We intended to discount every edition simultaneously. However, digital storefronts enforce strict cooldown periods between price changes. This creates a hard technical limit. Instead of abandoning the plan, we adapted our tactics.
Because we operate across a variety of digital ecosystems, promotional timings naturally stagger. The practical outcome is straightforward: you will almost always find RENNSPORT discounted on one platform or another. We are rotating the discounts to maintain visibility for new drivers while honouring our commitment to you.

I'm interested to see how much they've managed to change and hopefully improve the AI, to make the limited single player content a bit more appealing.

I don't think they need to offer any compensation. If they do I expect it will take the form of in game currency for liveries, if anything.

People buying the deluxe edition at launch, of which I am one of those people, made that choice based on poor critical reception, lackluster early access previews and full knowledge of a lack of launch content.

I also bought the deluxe edition , because Rennsport I've believed in from the begenning .

I think I'm treating tomorrow as launch day. The price for the deluxe edition, the overhauls, Le Mans, yeah I'm interested enough to pull the trigger now I think. Fingers crossed.

Still $129AUD. I’m not really itching for that Touring Classics DLC, but would be cool to have in my gaming library.
 
OK, so I gave it another go, and my original thoughts still stand.

It's a hard NO.
 
I’ve just dropped the rrp of £65 for Deluxe on the PSN Store.
Looking forward to playing it shortly, love Le Mans, and need a change from PMR.
 
At this rate, it being on PS Plus is the only way I am giving it a go. Otherwise, can't justify spending the amount they are still asking for.

Having Le Mans and the Merc CLR/Porsche GT1 is a big thing, I love those cars always have. Proper FIA GT Championship vibes.

For anyone who missed the previous post, the deluxe version discount has to be rotated between the different storefronts because of the requirements of each platform (plus I know in the UK you are legally required to have 14 days in between "sales" - a permanent sales price is illegal in the UK).

Currently, the discount is on Steam. It will rotate to either PS or Xbox next.

There is a new article posted concerning the discount. Seems XB and PSN prohibiting a discount before a rotation cycle or something 🤷 Next week, otherwise 10th of june

It's the CLK, not the CLR.

Merc have never licensed the CLR, for rather obvious reasons

Online is desert, no people to race with.
And now I'm with new profile because review ones doesn't work after update..
