So, today was the straw that definitely broke the camel's back; I redo the championship with the GT GT3, win the championship, and lo and behold, no reward car.

CAN'T BLAMEYA!! I as well spent countless of hours aggravated with the games' AI, and the failed rewards of the Championships. As great as the visuals are to game, it's NOT worth the aggravation to continue beating our heads into THIS sad version of a concrete wall of a game.

And once again, THANKS-a-TON for ALL the tunes! I know that many have given me a platform on which to work from and fine tune to my driving style. 👍

I, for one, am going out and buying me a LONG OVERDUE XBox and get FM4 in Oct., when it comes out! :)
 
Thanks t-12 for all the great tunes it sucks that you are no longer going to be doing tunes but I def appreciate all the help that you have given.

The Apollo must be the most frustrating car on Shift2.:ouch:

It has fantastic handling and brakes, yet can never achieve the speed and power it SHOULD have in a straight line :banghead:

If it did, it would easily beat all comers IMO. :cool:
 
I usually don't do tunes for request like T-12 did. Sometime i might post a tune to specific car, for a specific track that has a potential to brake some record. Like i used to do. Normally when i set my car it's always for one track only, it's harder to find compromise and find settings that might work for a wide range of tracks. But i see what i can do with Viper Works 👍

I don't know if i could tune Veyron for Nordschleife. Track seems to freeze on me sometimes in slower cars. :crazy:
 
Can you do Veyron Works for Nordschleife? I mean gearbox is way to short.

I used Steve182rs tune for my Bugatti on Nordschleife, for 6.17 run, just with final drive raised a little.

My (works) Apollo time with Terronium's tune is 6.20. Again, just higher diff.

I haven't tried USSR's Spa tune yet (on Nords'), but will try today.

You'll most likely do a lot better because I'm pretty old with poor reactions. :)

I tried today do at least one lap in Apollo on Nordschleife and every time i tried every time game freezed.

I wonder how the hell i did 6:56 in M1 Procar ?? :crazy:
 
I bought the Procar just the other day because I was getting tired of coming up against them in online 'retro' class races at the last second, and me with only an Escort Cosworth in my garage for that class. :lol:

Actually I was quite pleasantly surprised by the car, which won for me even on my most hated track....Monza GP. :crazy:

im very frustrated with the drifting in this game. Im using a PS3 and regular PS3 controller. Does anyone have a drift set up for either a RX7 or a Camero SS?
Ive tried the RX-8 that they give you as a reward car and am bouncing off the walls like a pin pong ball.

also does anybody have a set up for the shelby Cobra Coupe, B class?
 
what steering wheels do you guys recomend for a ps3?
i like the ones from Fanactec that make the porsche series but not too interested in $250+ price tags

use the first car your recieve (nissan 240 something) 1. in every event up untill the last drift at miami:ouch:
 
Anyone got a setup for the BMW i135 Works with Engine Swap? I'm still trying to tune this beast in terms of oversteer but this works version requires careful throttle control afaik.
 
kkwl, some cars are just not worth the engine swap. Anyway, if you find a tune, post it here.

remy28, logitech g25 or 27. A DFGT is also a good wheel but poor pedals and no clutch but its a lot cheaper.

No drift tunes here.
 
I need a good drift car, I understand how to drift. just not how to tune all that good. How do you tighten up the suspenion/body roll/ unstable feeling? Im new to the game, but not to driving sims. I like the S14 Drift Alliance as a drift car just want it fine tuned. thanks for any info you can provide.
 
The drift car they give is indeed good however I've ran into issues where I would explode my rear tires in a 3 lap drift event. This of course only happens when I do an ultra slow drift but I've found that the S13 Drift car they give you works really good if you can keep it in the 3rd-4th gear and I've also never tuned it once.

If you want to tune the car you have to go do Advanced tuning which gives you more control over the car's settings especially the roll bars, LSD, dampers, gearing etc Afaik the Toe-in/out settings are reversed according to some of the posts.

The only car I've had good success with drifting is my own custom made S14 but ever since I installed the Unofficial Community Patch from Nogripracing I've had to redo the whole setup.
 
Because I just love the "Legends" series I could use some help finding a good setup for the following cars:

Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA (1965)
Ford Escort Mk1 RS1 600 (1971)
Lotus Cortina Mk1 (1963)

Am I doing something wrong here? I put the tune settings in, save them, load them to the track I want to race at, everything is good. Restart the game after closing, go back to the garage, the tune is gone and I have to start all over again!!
