im at 90% now all street races done and ive also done the train missions. nearly did bmx, that checkpoint on the halfpipe is hard. Done the plane checkpoints as well.
 
Shame on me, I haven't played the game in 3 days now :lol:. Me % is shocking :lol:. Oh well, I've been busy.

Is it just me, or is that NRG-500 challenge completely ridiculous?
 
Yeah it is pretty ridiculous to do it on your own. Hard enough with the guide at your side.

I've t ried it about 5 times now with no luck. It reminds me of PCJ Playground which I tried about 50 times in a row before I got it right.

I have about 92% now. I have all of the hidden things except oysters. I also robbed a few houses for the "Burglar" mission. It is a pretty stupid mission. I don't like it.

I didn't find the NRG-500 checkpoint thing too hard. I think I got it my second go. It's actually pretty fun. I'll have to see what my best time is but I think it's 1:45, or 2:45 -- it has a 45.
 
85% done now. I bought the last of the safehouses which gave me an extra 0.5%

I'm working my way through the hidden packages now. I found about 40 of the tags in Los Santos on my own, but I'm just gonna use a map to find the rest, so I have 70 of them now. They haven't given any % points yet. You must get the % just when you finish them.

LOL Bet it's no as low as my percentage. Remember I have been playing almost daily since UK release. Here are my stats.

I'm ~60%.
All Story-Line Missions done except "End of The Line".
About 19% territories taken over. (I will get the others now that my Sawn-Off Shotgun is maxed out at Hitman; Very useful with a lot of ammunation ;))
Zero's missions, Heist missions, Package Delivery (Burger Shot), Valet Missions, BMX Challenge, NRG Challenge, 5-6 Races, all School at 100% and maybe a bit more are done.

I didn't tried FireFighter, Vigilante, Paramedic... for now. (Just waiting for my Hunter to respawn at my airstrip (I'm sure it's not there because of the Leviathan I got after doing the Heist missions))

Back to my fork. (Yeah, I need to eat to get the energy to play the game :D)

**I've noticed that my PS2 is having trouble. When I'm playing, it makes a strange noise. (Like a "CCCCCCCCRRRRRRR") My brother don't want to check it. ("If we open it, we will not have Sony's waranty")
 
well the ngr 500 is bullS*** along with the last chillad race, and with the bmx i was so close to getting this hard check point its like this

Very annoying to get the bike over the lip of the half pipe, it keeps jumping up and coming back down still in the halfpipe. ARGH, i have like 1:20 or so by the time i get around to collect it, but im still not able to reach it.
 
This may help you:

When you get in that Halfpipe, ( ÂŻ\_/ÂŻ*----View from the side; * is the CheckPoint)) try to go up a bit on the left side, then 180 and climb the right side at full speed (Tap X). If done correctly, the bike will jump at about 1-2 ft from the Hp and land on the side (Deck*). Just need to collect tha CheckPoint.

I hope this will help you...
 
thanks, i will try that, like i said i have about 1:20 to 1:40 in time to collect that last checkpoint.
 
It took me about 10-15 tries to get the NRG one but I kind of like it--I forget my time but I believe I had 13 seconds left on the timer-- I think its 2:47.

I did the quarry asset today-- got the stupid 6000 foot jump-- I started a thread discussing this and suggested a way to avoid it that I'd like some who has not done it to try.

I'm at 75% with 72 hours played. Storyline done-- 35 tags, 15 horse shoes, 8 snapshots (I think), 3 oysters, NRG done, I've only done 1 street race (little loop) other then the storyline ones, bloodring done--I've only golded the flight school (haven't even visited the boat or bike school).

25 unique jumps done (I know doesn't count toward 100%)
 
I just bought all of the properties, and am going to start on the oysters soon. Would the jetpack be a good way to collect the oysters? I'm not sure if it will get into the water far enough to reach them. Also did a few more burlglaries. How many things do you have to steal to complete it?

I have 18 unique jumps done. I'm planning on getting all of them even though it isn't needed for 100%. I don't see why it's like that. I think if there is still more things to find then you havn't completed the game 100%.
 
I'm intending on completing the Story Missions on Tuesday night, and then starting on all of the Street Races. (KM watch your back!) :lol:
 
I'm intending on turning on over the next couple of days...I probably won't though.
 
Finally won the Beat the **** (male chicken :rolleyes: )Triathalon from Santa Maria Beach. Next is the one from Palomino Creek.
Might do the Mt Chiliad race next. Trid once and fell a rather long way!

All of the SF Street Races, Some more import/export, Finish Airstrip missions (Now an Asset!) Did LV Burger Shot Delivery (Now an Asset) and a couple of jumps done...

Also went on a rampage with some weaponry and have Hitman on Shotgun & M4 and very close to Micro SMG Hitman... I want to get my Silenced Pistola & Desert Eagle upto Hitman too... Rampaging from SF garage is quite good for this... the chopper doesn't annoy you if you're under the roof thing.

Altho this morning when I turned it on to check my stats it froze on the Memory Card loadup screen... (The one that says don't turn it off or reset the console!!!) So I don't know whether or not I have a Savegame to go back too!?!?!

You should have loaded up and checked straight away. If not, bad luck, you've been hit with a curse that is starting to spread to people on this Forum. Blasted Memory Cards. đź‘Ž
 
Hopefully it hasn't ruined my entire save games... I've got one as I leave SF... so not that far behind... but far enough to be annoying...

Fingers crossed everything is A-OK fullstop... but we shall have to wait and see...

Well, even after all of this, I'm not going to do it. Some time in the near future, I might get another Memory Card, but not for a little while. When I get one, I probably will do this, but for now I should be fine.

And don't 'parent' me on that.
 
Which means you can't access it. That's not the point. It can't be fixed, so it's just as good as deleted really. But I'm just not scared of it happening. After the last time the Generator box across the road blew up, I'm sure it won't happen again. :lol:
 
I mean that's the only file that willl be corrupted, I didn't mean that it wasn't a bad thing that happened.
