yeah i found that as well, once you get up to a few cars its a lot easier. and once you figure out how to control the jet of water its easier as well. :)
 
Yeah the aiming mechanism is really different to GTA3 and VC!!!

Took me a long while to sort that out!! Bit now I think I've got the hang of it... and I can see that if using the tank and other vehicles like that that this aiming method will be pretty good...

Good job it's not like that in the hunter though?!?! Imagine having to use both joysticks hold X and press L1?! You'd need 3 hands!!

yeah most likely, btw if you blow up a car and it has 2 people in it (like cars do) do you get those 2 kills?

RancidMilk -- But you live in Idaho, this is in Nevada it seems. Is there any famous ones there?
 
the tank aiming is bad, takes 3 hrs (sarcastic) for it to spin and you have to press l2 or r2 or both to make it spin so you can see where your going :(

In GTA time, it might not be sarcastic...:lol:

I used the Tank the other day. I don't find it that bad. I find it more "realistic" (please noone take that word out of context) than on the other games, and a bit more challenging. It's a nice upgrade.
 
the tank blows up easyer as well, because when cars blow up they have fire and fire gets on tank and blows it up. the tank doesnt like fire
 
I don't mind that to be honest. A tank isn't really indestructable, so I like that. I like the challenge it presents, too.

Anyway, we've been going quite off-topic in this Thread. I apologise. Let's get back to our Game Progresses.

No geysers in Neveda. Yellowstone Ntl. Park is located directly over a hot spot under the earths crust, which is very rare, and the only place geysers are possible. There are a couple hundred geysers in Yellowstone, and I think one or two others somewhere else on the planet. And yellowstone is located in Whyoming/Montana. (I live on the very eastern part of ID.)


I experimented around a little for some good killing spots earlier. I found a couple decent ones. I didn't do it for too long but one of them gave me about 500 kills in 15 min. So about 2000 per hour. The only thing that's really distracting me from killing are the police helicopters that show up every 2 seconds, so I mainly have to focus on those which is annoying. I think I'm going to have to find someplace that will shield me from the helis so I can focus all my firing on the killing.

Back on topic: I've finished the game.
 
the only complaint i have about the tank is that you can't turn the turret backwards and still see where you're going to go really super fast :(

Well when you get 100%, you can have unlimited Rocket Launcher bullets to fire at the Choppers...

Are you going to keep this spot secret? You can if you wish.
 
I've been destroying the choppers easily it's just that they come so frequently you're constantly shooting at them.

And yes, I would like to keep it classified. At least until I find a better spot.
 
:crazy: Go to the stadium in Los Venturas..you can get decent cover from the copters and you have vending machines & victims..a good killing ground... :crazy:
 
wait until the last, stupid crane lol. Its not that bad once you know what to do, im sure you wont have much difficulty with it
 
Hmm... I was hoping I would get better. As for the crane, I don't like the that you can't change the view in that one :( But I did try out the crane.

I set a Dozer on fire so the Fire truck would get there. Then I picked it up with the crane and started to swing it in to the cliffs like a wrecking ball. Sure was fun for a few minutes :p
 
lol, did you now there is a wrecking ball in SF behind your garage lol.

Anyway if not much to post about my game progress, apart from finnally getting in screenshots for my records and improve my CR.

On the topic of killing sprees, how would Wang Autos fair? Sunshine was a good spot for lengthy stand-offs and tank stealage in Vice City... Cover from choppers, a good, panoramic view, a main road right outside...
 
I think it would be better. But continue this conversation in the San Andreas Killing thread, as I made it to stop the talk about killing methods in this Thread in particular.

Completed the Quarry missions, most where a walk in the park when you got used to it. Keeping your cool helped a lot.

The fourth one was the one with the transporting the explosives with the Dumper right? That was a mess until I figured out a good route. PSYCHO A.I. + BIG TRUCK THAT GOES BOOM IF THEY HIT YOU = :yuck:

But I like mucking around so much now so that would increase my time higher than it could be, and also I don't like tagging and collecting horseshoes etc. It seems so dull to me. Oh well, I still enjoy the game as much as when I first played it.

im pretty sure you can yes, as ive done it a few times.
