Is there anything I can do to find out what action has been taken after reporting someone to the forum mods?

Nope, unless that person decides to tell folk, the warning and infraction system is private so the only folk that know is us and the person receiving the warning/infraction.

Uh-huh. It should also be noted that if someone has clearly broken the AUP, then they will be on the receiving end of moderator action. So you can rest assured that something will be done about it, even if what that something is gets left unsaid. Like daan said, it's between the moderators and the person on the receiving end of the action. It's not really anybody else's business.

Just as a 👍 ... It's pretty clear that this forum is well-managed & that violations are dealt with.

If you're on a forum that is not well-managed, believe me, that's quite evident too. lol. Things get out of control very fast if things are not done to deal with chaos bringers or even just those who unwittingly make poor posting choices.

And when you make a report, the rather perk of it should be seen as that, once you make the report, you never have to think about it again. (Which should be a good thing.)
If you're hoping that punishment will occur... well I don't think that's the purpose of enforcing rules on a forum. It's not about punishing wrong doers (especially since many violators are probably simply clueless people making dopey communication decisions)... it's simply about maintaining order.

Trust me, it would be absolutely obvious if reports were ignored & violators were not given a talking to at least.
