Searched the Q&A forums and couldn't find anything about this. Is there a list with care resale values available anywhere?

mygranturismo.net has them. You must individual look at them though.

👍 mygranturismo.net definitely has the most information for each individual car. However, even that database is somewhat incomplete, and there's no way to search by resale value.
Probably because resale value of cars is just simply awful for the most part in gt5. It's not really worth it at all.

Thanks, I figured out how to find the info on MYGT.

Reason: Just considering an alternative way of accumulating credits while the big payouts are still around. Once I max out at 20 mil. , buy multiples of the same car and then sell them off as I need more credits. After reviewing the resale values though, it seems pointless.

ferrari f40 -120,000 Cr

i think this is one of the highest, but seasonals are much better

The ferrari F40 is the best for credits spent vs resale as far as I am aware.... Please note the resale is 135k not 120k as listed in the previous comment .... I have over 40 of these now because I fell short of a FGT in a cool colour by 4 million, and it annoyed me. Badly. 👍

Yeah, selling cars is definitely NOT lucrative in gt5.
There are far better, faster, & easier ways to accumulate credits.

yes, but if you need to generate credits without advancing the UCD, this is the way to do it. selling f40's does not advance the ucd.

I can confirm that, for premium cars, it is. But another car, Standard, is slightly better : the NSX-R Prototype LM Road Car. :)
The sell rule is simple : the car must cost less than 500 k @ 0 km and the sell price is 0.3 x new price (discounted prices from online dealership must be x2 before calculation)

It's around 30%.
Highest resale value for standard cars is Mitsubishi Pajero Rally Raid '03 (I think 140.000 or 135.000) and for premiums it's Ferrari F40 (135.000).

Resale value is a definite problem - most cars you can't even sell.

I've got all the Standards and most of the premiums, about 438,000,000 worth, yet granturismo says I'd only get 16,000,000 if I sold them all!

Nor does having your Bobs raced by your friends. ;)

Go to mygranturismo.net like some others mentioned, do remember that some high value cars cannot be resold.

I've spent most of my day updating prices of the cars in the database, replacing the estimated price by a 0km price for more than 700 cars, with a fix for +400 sellable cars.

Only a few "0km prices" are missing. Once i got them, sorting on price field will be done on the 0 km price value and not the old "found once un UCD" value.

When you write "granturismo says" you mean mygranturismo.net ?
Most of cars in a complete garage, in number of models, can be sold, but if you consider values, then its a minority of your cars. Also, with the refresh i've made today on datas, value estimation may have change slightly.

Or... you create another gt5 account on the ps3. And race your own bobs from that acct.

If you race all 6 of your bobs from the alternate acct, in under an hour, you should get more than selling one Ferrari F40... by doing pretty much nothing, and losing nothing.
