So, anyone else tried the demo yet? Graphically it's stunning but it's totally ruined by screen tearing and visual issues, and the gameplay seems to be trying too hard. The action is fairly quick but the controls are diabolical so you can't keep up with anything attacking you! Then there are so many controls to try and remember that it ruins the fun of the Resi series which has always been simply shooting zombies.

I'm willing to give the game a full chance as I hope they fix the tearing issues which plague the cutscenes but I get the feeling the clumsy controls will remain the same. Which is a real shame.

I'm downloading now, but this is the reason I love my 360...... we get demos that Dl at you internet speed not half speed like my PS3, and the demos are playable online with friends lovely:tup:.

I had time for a through play thru, it looks great sounds good. Did not really notice any bad graphical glitches, I'm playing on a 1080p 50" Samsung. The online leaves a bit to be desired, a bit cumbersome inviting friends since while your waiting for them to enter a random player can also enter and take thier place......the Japanese just have not figured out how to do online right yet. Not sure but I don't think the demo supports voice chat either as none of the people I played with spoke back to me. Although the work around is simple have your friend join your party and then you can chat the whole way.

Can't wait for the full game, outta be great espeicially with the co-op online play.

you guys can keep us residentistas that can't afford a new sys up to date. especially on the rumor that the rescuee that chris is after might just be...crap...what's the code for making Spoiler text?

Downloading now... I'll edit this post later. I've been looking forward to this one, though.

Moglet, were you a fan of RE4? The controls took a while for me to get used to. I really hope these graphical issues don't make it into the final game... :nervous:

I loved RE4 on the Gamecube, the controls were so easy to get use to. Like the old RE style. But since the 360 has a big controller, its alright for now...and now back to F.E.A.R 2 demo!

This demo surprised me and ended up consuming 2 straight hours of my life last night. Actually very fun and I will be renting this for sure. Teamwork and communication are a must or you will die. The more we played the more we found and also the easier the enemies were to kill. Those close up execution moves are very helpful for conserving ammo. I love how you can exchange items with your partner like herbs, grenades, and ammo. Plus you have to interact with each other to survive attacks and to get from level to level.
***Very important!!!****
Make sure you watch the control settings because sometimes they change the default for some reason. I was playing with the D control settings for most of the night. Then I went to play another game and somehow the controls were not the same. Luckily after a few minutes I looked at the default and somehow they switched to B. So make sure you pick control settings you are comfortable with.
