I used a Restore ticket on a car I had broke in to bring it back to stock as I no longer desired some of the irreversible mods on the car. I Noticed that despite being brought to 0miles status the car retained the broken in HP. I'm wondering if anyone has noticed this and I wonder if it could be used to make a legit no hace car with HP exceeding what is usually possible.

Those tickets are misleading, they don't bring it back to stock, it only makes everything 0/0/0.

Un-removable parts still remain if you use the ticket. They are total BS, no to mention VERY misleading in the description.

^ I learned that much. I'm just wondering that if given the patience and multiple accounts to do so if you could "break-in" your car repeatedly to gain Hp beyond what would normally be possible with out actually hacking or did I just encounter an isolated incident.

I presume the max HP limit is predefined and cannot be exceeded (without mods). I'm not 100% on this but almost certain it is.

You can only break it in once. After that, your hp degrades with mileage.

^With a restore ticket it returns the car to 0 miles so in essence it would be re-breaking in the motor after the ticket.

edit: Sorry, Put the wrong thing in the OP and Title. Fixed. I meant Restore ticket

The restore ticket is the same as if you used an engine rebuild ticket or purchased it in GT Auto. Only a green ticket car or a true 0/0/0 can be broken in. As far as I know the max HP is coded to the car specifically. If you managed to get a car to have more HP than the same car that was broken in already I think you just got lucky. I could be wrong but I believe what @Bluntified & @Hei is correct. 🤬 the idiots that ruined it for all of us.

I haven't went through and tried to re-break in the car yet. I'm guessing I had gotten lucky with it and it was an isolated thing. the car was an GT86 btw.

The description says that all tuning parts will be kept.

This is not a glitch. This is normal. It's just like the OCD cars - 0 miles but fully broken in. Proof that break-in is not directly linked with miles.

Once break-in has occurred you can remove miles with a restore ticket or hacking and it will still remain broken-in.
