I got a nice time with the viper on laguna, but T4 is a pain. The traction control is interfering and I cannot turn it off. I am using auto, which seems to have helped, rather use manual.

T4?? That's Deep Forest in the Skyline. I was trying that one last night!

Go into options and switch TCS & ASM off. It's one of the settings you can switch on or off.

i did, but they are still lit and flash.

turn them off in the main game options then turn them off in the race options , i had the same trouble !!

the first turn you're trying to get past the right rumble strip on the exit before 14 seconds comes up and the turn into the tunnel is tricky, i'm thinking a smooth 71, 72 mph is possible. Understeer gets in the way. The several sweeping left hand turns after the tunnel beg the question of what is the best line, but the last turn is a real pain. Have to time that one well and correct in time, if need be, to avoid dropping speed down to the demos level.

I don't remember seeing that option.

the main game options are at the bottom of the screen you choose either arcade or gt mode , and the next options are on the start screen for a race you move right to the triangle, square you know the button signs in their you will find asm and tcs under a racing helmet

Main menu there's an option section there.

In the Time Trial itself you have the same set of options to.

If you switch both off you should get rid off that pesky TCS & ASM!!

Maybe try asking some of the other NTSC runners to see if they have the same problem!
