I would honestly prefer to see late 70s 1200hp 1.5L turbo f1s and late 80s 1000+hp NA v-12 f1 cars before they do any more modern F1 cars. Those grand prix cars just seemed to have more soul.

Thats a great idea, its something i would always love to see in this game. The fun you would have with those beasts is immense. Throw in the old banked Monza or Montjuïc Park with the DLC and your on to a winner!

Agreed, the Lotus 72s, Senna's MP4/4...

Those would be absurdly insane; and the FGT can sometimes get to that level of insanity, but it still isn't enough.

Late 70s turbo F1 cars "only" had slightly more power than the normally apsirated engines of the day, say about 500bhp. They didn't reach 1200 until mid 80s.
