Zombies Ate My Neighbors is one of my favorite SNES games. I still get that one out when friends are over from time to time. So many freaking levels. I've still never beaten it.

Heh. Neither have I. I love some of the level names too - "Chainsaw Hedgemaze Mayhem" is one of my favorites.

You're right. I was probably thinking about those Cannibal Corpse albums that were banned in Germany. I guess the title has more to do with the multitude of languages spoken in Europe.

I just bought pretty awesome book, a book about all the NES games sold in Scandinavia.

It's shows different cover boxes and rarity and value.

Awesome! I can't wait for my DC copy of Pier Solar HD to come out next month!

Cool mate , you do know pier solar hd was delayed dont you the somthing about certificate ratings :( I vaugely remember it as a kickstarter project isn't my type of game But after seeing some videos I may pick it up for the dreamcast just because its so diffrent to most dreamcast games I have at the moement.

Dreamcast for sure! The prospect of a BRAND NEW game for the DC had me like "just shut up and take my money already!!!!" on the kickstarter page. From what I hear, there's going to be some cool stuff using the VMU too!

I might also pick it up for the OUYA.

Sweet, yeah I bought a few games for the dreamcast that are unlicensed. Like Dux last hope pink bullets hope to get age of beast if it ever gets released , been waiting for that I dunno 5 years ish. its by the senile team who made beats of rage I did start making a mod for it years ago but I scrapped it due to inexperience but they were advertising it then many years ago may be longer than 5 years

The Ouya I was all up for getting until the reviews came out and I seen the games and no android store, but the emulator support seems to be good an i may still pick one up see what hacks I can do to it...

OUYA was pretty awful at first, but it has come around nicely and has many good games. You can also stream games from your PC, and there is an online streaming game service called Playcast that is pretty amazing. XBMC is nice too. Worth checking out. You want to have an extra ps3 or 360 controller though, and a way to hardwire ethernet, because the controllers and wireless adapter are very bad.

Oh cool , yeah last time I looked at it was a few weeks after it was released and there was a lot of bad feedback I knew the controllers are bad and expected it as it was quite cheap price wise .. Didn't even realise it had wireless must have missed that I knew it had Ethernet .. Not sure how you mean by stream games from the pc is this like the service playstation are implementing to the ps4? That sounds awesome could I stream a game like battlefeild?

In answer to your question about streaming- there are 2 apps that do this -playcast is like gamefly and one of the services for the ps4-the game is being run on a server somewhere and then streamed to the ouya via the Internet.

There is also something called Kainy which lets you stream games that are being run by your computer over your LAN. I haven't tried BF4 with it, but in theory it should work. I was playing Dishonored with it the other day!

Edit:I was just checking the "store" and it looks like there is also a new one that works with steam. Not sure of the details yet though.

I was playing Dishonored with it h.

Well if that worked good you have me sold ....I was thinking the older bf games as my pc is seriously crap and I mostly play retro or console games, I gave up upgrading pcs longtime ago couldn't keep up with. But I'll put the ouya on the to get list :D

It has the retro thing covered. There is an emulator for everything! Also if you use a ps3 controller there is less lag than any pc emulator/gamepad combo I have ever tried.

If you have an Nvidia graphics card with a Kepler GPU - basically a GTX 650 and up - get Limelight. It presents your Ouya to your PC as an Nvidia Shield for GeForce Experience streaming with hardware encode on the server side and hardware decode on the Ouya's side. It's miles, miles, miles better than Kainy and is on a par with Steam Home Streaming. I haven't tried Playcast though. I think it also supports a keyboard and mouse support. Anyway, it's great and I would've sold my Ouya by now if it weren't for that.

And yeah, that Ouya pad is the worst controller I've ever used in my entire life. I'm so glad they were aware of that and allowed the use of a DS3 or X360 controller, I just wish someone would give it DS4 support. It connects (via USB) fine, but the button assignments are all messed up presumably because the HID descriptor is different to the DS3's.

Edit: Oh yeah, I forgot what I came here to say! I found a couple of Sega Mega Drive II's literally down the back of the sofa (it's a big sofa) and remembered that Super Hang-On is a thing. I can't find my 6-in-1 cart right now though so I've compromised by emulating it on my PC. Playing it with a Play Sega controller is, well, it's perfect.

Amd cheapo here. :P Just finished an FX8350 build, but I'm gonna run my 2gb HD6870 card into the ground before I get another one.

If you need me, I'll be tweaking my drivers...

Also, do you have the most face-melting MegaDrive game out there-Alien Soldier?

Sadly no, I've never even heard of it. I used to have quite a big collection but my brother took almost all of my carts to a friend's house a few years back and that was the last I saw of it... Fortunately he didn't like any of the games from the 6-in-1, Zero Tolerance or Micro Machines 2/Military, so I still have those at least.

Please, please give it a spin on the emu! It's like a faster, more complex Contra on crack; with bosses from hell. The game has amazing controls and the speed and amount of stuff blowing up is pretty unmatched. It will literally melt your face! I promise!

The reason you have probably never played it is that it was one of the last games released for the system. I just discovered it recently.
