Reverse Lights? Anyone seen m yet?

Hopefully I won't get flamed for asking , and I know this question has been made before, but no word from it lately, anyone seen cars with white reverse light(s) yet? If they forget to add it once again no biggie, but it would certainly add some more realism into the car models.
 
just to do the devil's advocat... i don't think having reverse light would add anything to the game, as its not a street racer... so why even bother?
 
Red it has a huge collection of everyday showroom cars, last I saw, reverse lights weren't an option. ;)
 
Eh, there were sections in the licences of GT4P where you needed to reverse. The last coffee break in the S2000 springs to mind. It would be a nice touch, but I don't think it makes or breaks the game.

Depth? Depth?! I don't think simple white lights that go on while in reverse adds depth. Depth would be being to alter the workings of a racing chip or something.
 
not seeing em there feels a little wierd is all. I won't have a heart attack if theyre not in, it just seems kinda stupid.

Reverse 180s are fun to do. I doubt that I'm the only one that likes messing around with cars in GT to see what they can do, or how they react, seeing as doing the events gets real dull.
 
Nevermind the lights.
I'm more worried about being able to properly accelerate in reverse (i.e. using pedals) instead of just pressing a button.

That is the really sad part. It is absolutely true...
 
So if you don't care about reverse lights, why bother with the brake lights? They're just bigger, red, and go on and off as well. I, personally, would want to see brake lights, I thought it was kind of stupid not to have them. Plus, in GT4, the AI are smart, so while in reverse, and they 'see' the reverse lights, they'd swerve to the left or right..

sure they're the same just different colors, but how often do you put the car in reverse when you take turns? or at all in a race? :lol: now THAT would be cool... maybe the AI will be smart enough to swerve when they hear that noise. Oh wait, if your in reverse then your probly in last place so it won't matter...

actually sorry, that wasn't directed at you, I meant to direct it at everyone out there saying how GT4 isn't the "Real Driving Simulator" without reverse lights.

You'd much rather hear a retarded, annoying beep than see a couple of little white lights? Plus the beep is for industrial trucks/buses, to warn people who aren't paying attention so they don't get hit, useless on a race track..

I don't see the problem in putting in reverse lights.....are PD really that tight on graphics?.....or is it becuase they can't be bothered to go back and put them in! How many polys would it realistically take!.....not that many!.....Look at the one series, in the demo it recreates the two stage braking lights system and it looks amazing.....so if PD are going to that trouble.......they should finish off the job properly.....
