I finally got my hands on this game last weekend and I have to say I'm very impressed so far. The Megane @ Lime Rock has to be some of the most fun I've ever had in sim racing. What an absolute blast!

I was going to ask if some of you could post some lap times for me with various combos so I could see how I compare. After watching wajdi1997's lap above, I can see I'm not ready yet. :lol: Very nice lap wajdi1977!

I do have one question though... where is everyone racing? I see some league stuff at the official forum but it doesn't look like many are using it. The server list is usually pretty empty as well. Is there anything being organised here? Particulary something in the North America evening time slots?

You might want to check out the cmsracing.com Fun Series!
Laid back group of guys that aren't too much about lap times as they are about having fun.

It is my league ! there are some aliens, but if you want to improve your driving skills you should race with them!

Clio at Croft: 1'31.4
Megan at Portugal: 1'38.2
C6.R at Med-Ohio: 1'21.7
Megan at Med-ohio: 1'19.2
Clio at Mountain Forest(great track! try it): 2'34.5

Thank you too! I'll check out your league as well. Also thank you for posting some lap times to aim for. I just tried the Clio at Croft and I'm way off the pace. With the C6.R at Mid-Ohio I'm doing a little better, running low 24's there.

In most cars, I'm struggling to keep the rear end in check.

I'm fairly quick in GT5 but I'm having a difficult time finding a good pace with this game. I think that's why I'm having so much fun with it though.

Too much flat as car! too much grip and the ffb is too much strong that it feels unreal to me!
I know the the modern DTM cars have a lot of grip, but is one is just wrong to me!
 
Hum, I don't know wajdi. The field of view in these cars makes it seem you are going faster than you are.

As I have mentioned before, to me the physics are fine for these cars. As far as the FFB is concerned, I like it very much. I like how you feel the weight of the car and the skipping of the tires. These cars are heavy.

But hey, not all mods have to be to everyone's liking, I am still not crazy about Enduracers. Cheers
 
Is that a new version or updated version of the mod? The version I have doesn't have an HUD on the cockpit, and where can I get Monza!!!?

This is the final version! the one that you already have was the demo version! if you want the new version, you have to pay for it, 5 euro/$!!
 
Yes Jav, the version I bought has both cars and costs 10 Euros (~$13), a third car would be free (I am guessing the Mercedes) if you get the combo. Monza v1.10 is available as is Melbourne v1.0. I have mixed feelings about paying for mod, however I do like it and wanted access to all the cars. In the end I opted to buy and I don't regret it.

PS; anyone at the ISR servers doing the Corvette races?

Yes, me! it is the server for the upcoming endurance event of my league!

We should seriously try to hook up in one of the ISR servers later. Win, lose, or not finish they are fun.
 
Just say when and what server, we can do any or several. Megane, Clio and Skip Barber are fun, the others require more effort hehe.
