Richard Burns was definetely one of the leading characters of the World Rally scene.
Immensely talented, always positive and a real, honest sportsman of the highest order, the world of motorsport has truly lost a great man. May god bless his soul.

I've followed WRC for a very short period of time, and 2001 was the first year I watched it. I was rooting for the Subie team, and Burns didn't fail to deliver. I really had no idea myself, as I haven't found much time for WRC the in the past two years.

What is it with this week?

a great loss to the WRC, and the world of motorsport. I personally cant beleive this is happening. And at such an early age too. who else have left us, Im just curious.

Burns was a true hero with true talent and my heart goes out to all his family.
