Saw this running in a shop the other day, they had it running on 20gb ps3 and on the cra*iest tv that money could buy, also through the most basic of conections, and it made this game look like a ps1 game im not joking, it looks like if you plan on buying a ps3 then getting a HDTV is a must. BTW it ran at such a pace and with no frame rate problems it looks like its going to be frantic, im just playing RR2 on the psp at the moment.

not this again...

Those are pretty old comparison shots if I remember correctly. It takes 30 seconds to load up www.gamespot.com and check out images from the final build. I've playd it, and I can tell you know, it's all in your head. They look nearly IDENTICLE. The ONLY difference I've noticed is one supports 1080p. Period. Textures look the same, lighting, everything.

Of course they look nearly identical. Maybe it's my head, but the textures look a bit better in RR6, and RR7 looks more clean, and that's probably because of 1080p. And yes, I looked at the final build shots of RR7.

And those comparison shots are from November 12th this month, so I wouldn't consider those "old".

Maybe, maybe not.

BTW, are you typing with the PS3 browser (hence the bad grammar)? ;)

HAHA! Awesome catch, yes, I was, lol. It was late and I was too lazy, and wanted to give the predictive text a spin. It actually works kinda cool. For words you use often to form sentences, it will predict it.

For instance, one a few forums last night I spoke about testing things on PS3 when I got back from vacation, etc (I have my PS3 with me, but no PS1/PS2 games or older items). ANYWAY, I digress, each time I said "when" the following word on the predictive text would be "I" and then "get" followed by "back" etc etc (all the way to "from vacation."). It's pretty neat stuff. It learns when you write and post and input text. Very neat indeed.

RR7 is the most enjoyable version I've played in a while. I seem to find my self neck and neck with Pako in the rankings :) he was 17140 I was 17022.

What I like about it is the tuning, a frist in RR games and it impacts the way your car handles drifts and Ultimate chargers. The Raggio is a difficult car to drive in RR for PSP and RR6 in RR7 it can be made to handle like a dream. The drift engine is much better than RR6 and nitrous tunning changes stratageis, Thats right RR7 has stratagy to its driving model. It could be the differecne of up to 20seconds better lap times. Its also the way newbies get owned in online multiplayer.

I give RR7 a 9/10 RR6 7/10

RR7 may have the the same cars and tracks with additions but the gameplay and setup kills RR6.

:0 Wow, we're really close. I really suck by the way but am slowing remembering how to play RR style... :)

I really only started playing this today. Just under 50%

I agree, very fun to hop in and get a quick fix without a whole lot to invest.

[Edit] Might want to recheck the stats....., last I checked I was right around 15,050 :)
