Hey - this looks pretty good. I'll wait for the reviews, but it's good to see someone do a Gran Turismo for bikes.

The only thing is that the actual physical part of riding a motorbike is a much bigger element in the experience than it is for driving a car - and there really is no way to reproduce that, unless you do a 'Werner Winkels' and mod up your own replica motorbike to crawl all over while you play, a la the arcades.

thats why i dont play motorbike games. they are all the same where as the car games are all different.

Riding Spirits is alot of fun. I have been playing it for about three days. The learning curve is steep. There are four manufacturers, Honda Kawasaki Suzuki and Yamaha, along with some special concept bikes that pop up as prizes. The physics is adequate, you can lean, move fore and aft, and braking while leaning over in a turn will produce front end wash out.

The bikes look good, the sound is pretty poor, the competition is tough, and the crashes are spectacular. While the game isn't perfect it is a bike game that provides the ability to tune, modify, and race bikes that you can buy. I am really pleased with it and hopefully they do another edition with alot of improvements.

I really would like to see Ducati BMW and Aprillia in the game.

No they ar most likely NOT IN THE GAME (ala Gran turismo) because the game is made in Japan so obviously they are going to have mainly japanese bikes. Although ducatti and Aprilia would make me wanna get the game.

I've only seen bad reviews for this game..

It could have been pretty cool, but it is WAY too hard. If you just TOUCH the grass in sim mode, you'll be eating grass in no time.
