If only more car companies built stuff like this instead of endless SUVS

Absolutley. Personally I think a Safari / Crossover / Offroad / Adventure version of a normal car has some kind of rally vibes and much more appeal then one of these soft SUV´s like a Kadjar or whatever their name is.

They're not being innovative at all just doing what people say they want. Even Ferrari are going to build one of those awful things which is just heracy

The Blood Meganés

This is my final boss. Der Endgegner. Le boss final. La capo finale. My colourblindness is screaming for mercy with these liveries. Special thanks to my wife which helped me to find the correct colours of the blood battenburg. As I was getting told, the versions I initially made were green...
I bring you today three cars, two Safety Cars and a Group 4 Megané.

The two safety cars are blood transport cars, one is the UK NHS and the other a German version of it.

Blood donation is important. Maybe you will consider to give some?

Porsche 991 GT3 Feinkost Käfer Rally

This livery is maybe a very local thing. Käfer (english: Beetle) is one of the biggest deli shops in Munich, providing you pretty fine things like truffle, champagne, lobster and so on. They also have established them self as a brand and have a own beer tent at the Oktoberfest. Their mascot is a ladybug, used instead of their name for example on their tableware collection. Decided after my morning coffee out of my Käfer mug to use my DWG 991 for a livery with them. As I discovered in the settings, you can use the GT3 with mud tires, so I went with a Rally version to give my Lavazza 458 Rally somekind of companionship in the RGT class.

Mini Cooper S "Monte Carlo"

The next crossover livery features the "new" Mini. This is a masking job, as I wanted to have a chromed underide "guard" at the ends of the car and didn´t want to ditch the chromed grille / outlets. I decided to give it the fancy name "Monte Carlo", as this is quiet something the marketing guys of BMW could have decided to get every single penny out of the Mini heritage. To make it look more tough, I have choosen to give it a military matte paint while keeping the Cooper signature details with a white roof and mirrors.

Toyota Tundra UN

This truck was a rolling project I have started 6 weeks ago. When I was getting out of livery ideas I proceeded to age it a bit more and tried some things with it which I later cancelled. At some point I have decided to give the Toyota a mission as an UN car and added some more plastic features like the grille or the bumpers. Quite like this style much more on trucks as the super-luxury versions.

Love it! First couple of screens almost look like an up-res’d PS2 Africa game or something

Mazda Atenza Gravel

Making crossover liveries is really a satisfying job. Slowly I have successfully wasted my duplicates from the daily workout gift. Maybe this is somekind of OCD that I can´t leave these gifts untouched. Something HAS to be done with them. This time my victim is the Mazda 6 / Atenza. The marketing department of ringkurier decided it will be a great idea to call it the "Gravel".

Should try this on something silly like an Aventador

Subaru WRX GT4 Brandt

Was quite happy finally to get my hands on the Subaru and Mitsubishi GT4 cars from the DWG. Four door race cars are unfortunately not so common in GTS but they make old grumpy me very happy. They remind me of the 90s, when touring car racing was gold. No 🤬 BoP, FWD vs RWD, the suprise when Quattro destroyed everything on the track.... good old days!
Went with a rusk/Zwieback brand, cause I like their classic colour scheme, unchanged since 80 years, and they remind me of my childhood.

Aston Martin DB Max

Time to shift up a gear and make these crossovers expensive. Unfortunately there are no mud/snow tires available for the Aston, but it screamed for the steel underride protection you really need when driving this over a manhole cover. Roof and the mirrors are carbon fiber, the pain is half matte orange.

Corvette C2 Dark Destroyer

This is a testbed for some ideas I had for the LEC 49. While I really like, how the pinstripes in gold work out, personally I find this livery is funny in a weird way. I just can´t stop thinking about this meme:

The Vette just has exactly that vibe, especially the pictures I have made. Initially, I wanted that it looks mean, evil, ´Murica Power, V8 destroys everything! And now.... But maybe I just have a strange imagination :D

Jaguar E-Type "Grumpy Old Warbird" - LEC 49

Something I wanted to do since quiet a few weeks. But I needed finally an excuse to do it, which I found in the LEC 49. This livery is a remiscence to the RAF warbirds. As the RAF was a bit more serious regarding the nose art than their American allies, I used a Cartoon from Berger as a "Pin Up Girl". Yes, it´s Winston Churchill, which gave this E-Type the name "Grumpy old Man". To make things a bit more interesting, I wanted to quote the lightweight E-Types with the blank metal belt behind the bonnet. The rivets were made from a detail photo of a Vickers VC-10.

Corvette C3 "The Sneaky Cat"

The reason behind this livery is quite similar to the Käfer 911 GT3, I hate to left one car alone in his style. This one should give the "The Grumpy Old Warbird" Jag some society. Once again, this is inspired by the Warbirds of WW2, this time on the other side of the Atlantic. Custom made decals on the Vette are "Felix, the Cat", "The Sneaky Cat", one of my favourite slogans at the helmets of pilots "Stop screaming I´m scared too!" and again the rivets of the Vulcan I have already used on the Jag.
Was happy to find the 350 C.I. decal, which gives the livery some "Airline Registration" and the U.S. Air Force number plates.

Citroen GT3 Dassault Rafale

In my eyes one of the most complicated cars in the livery editor, close to all these Group 1 cars. Why are on this car so many things in the "Others" section? Anyway, while making the two warbirds, I wanted to transfer this theme to a GT3 car, as always Sport Mode compatible and more or less with some realistic sponsors. So, why should Dassault not promote it´s Rafale jet with race cars? No one said "You fool, because of xyz blabla" so I present you this:

You did well with this car and the livery. I’m considering the Citroen GT Gr.4 for the current LEC event, I’ve never worked on it, it might be a challenge!

You, my good sir, are a very gruel man  Also I have JUST wasted the ONLY livery idea I had for the Citroén GT Concept by Citroén GT3 Racecar Vision Gran Turismo VGT Group 3 or whatever it is now called.

But thank you :embarrassed:

Mazda MX-5 (Miata in Freedom-Words or Eunos Roadster in JDM language) Warbird

This HAS to be done to get the collection of "warbird" liveries done, a JDM based car. Got some inspiration from the "Zero" but as the Jag and the Vette I don´t made a replica of a specific type. No custom made decals are used for this one, there were plenty of decals already made, for example the MX-5 Logo / "Registration" was uploaded quiet a while ago from @zeptrans . Unfortunately the suitable wheels for the MX-5 are very limited, I´m not 100% happy with them.

Suzuki Swift TSRJimny

Have a bad memory, but as far as I remember @D-Max kindly asked to make more crossovers. So, here it is, the Suzuki Swift TSRJimny. Comes standard with heated seats, rear underdrive protection in Aluminium-Design and to celebrate the victory in the #49 LEC with free 17 inch chromewheels.

Mercedes AMG GT3

Did you ever tried these carshow lobbies in GTS? You may need some luck to get a good one, but if you have found one, this can be pretty entertaining. Just did some field tests there to see how the world works outside of the GTPlanet. Here are the official facts:

- 9 out of 10 liveries on race cars are not Sport Mode compatible
- Good made replicas are getting pretty much ignored, except Martini and Rothmans
- You have really a good chance to win a round with tribals (yep, the Skull Tribal AE86 won two rounds!)
- There is always one idiot who bumps into all the other cars and an other with a Tomahawk doing strange things with a big lag
- My Davidoff liveries are my most succesful work, each entry resulted with a podium in these rounds.

Now I have to be honest that I had some joy in winning them :scared: . So I decided to expand the Davidoff livery to another car I really have problems to get it to work: The AMG GT3. I remember how hard I tried to make my Lufthansa livery at least acceptable. Had the feeling it was much easier to apply the Davidoff on this car, but maybe cause I had already some kind of concept car ready in the LE from a few months ago. Changed some of the secondary sponsors, base paint is again the beautiful British Racing Green chip. Made the decision to keep the original 24h plates as they are really authentic on the Benz.

In fact, the MX-5 is appeared in-game after my sticker.

As I always said, when I share a sticker, I like to imagine it to other player creations... I enjoy to see this one in your "flying" Mazda.

With that amount of rivets its altitude will pretty much remain zero. :D

Thank you, sir

Toyota S-FR "Warbird"

Another copy of the DWG was collecting dust in my virtual garage, so this S-FR was the next victim of the Warbird liveries. Quiet a very cool car, really a shame that Toyota stopped it. Not visible in the pictures: Mirrors and diffusor are wrapped in carbon fiber.

Renault Clio V6 "CrossAlp"

And it happened again. The next pretty useless copy from the wheel of fortune. You may already guess what it's destiny is: Becoming a crossover.
Just tried if this creation really deserves it's name and pushed it three laps around Colorado Springs (the most boring track in this game imho): It's freaking awesome on mudtires to drive! Midengine with a higher center of gravity gives it lot's of traction with enough time to initiate countersteering at the limit. The mountain skyline at the C-Pillar and the Crossalp logo are custom made. This Clio features again the steel underride protection which forced me to wrap the car completly around them. Side intakes and mirrors are carbon fiber wrapped.
