Apparantly he was "a long-time diabetic" who "died from complications that were brought on from a recent surgery."

Wikipedia said that he died from a lacerated ulcer, but I don't think it's anything official.

Wow. This is a shock. I'd heard nothing about this.

He'll be sadly missed, that's for sure. At least he will live on in the hotrods he created.

I never really watched his show, but from what I did see I was glad he didn't sell out like Chip Foose did.

I hotrodding legend cut down too early.
