Being from the Peoples Republic of Kalifornia I know for a fact that if you get stopped doing 200 they take you straight to jail and your car gets impounded.

The highest posted limit is either 70mph or 75mph. If you go 20mph over the posted limit you can get reckless driving added to the speeding charge. That would probably cost about $1500 in fines. Anything over 100 and the officer can arrest you. For that you get a suspended license.
